**One shot requested by PinkyHeartt, Peter is 6 and the biological son of Tony and Pepper. Takes place just after the war of New York. Peter has never met the Avengers. Let me know what you think!**

Peter sat on the floor, his legs straight out in front of him and his feet bobbing from side to side as the soundtrack to the Lion King played. He was carefully putting Legos together, working on a model of the Stark Tower. His mom, who was pacing slowly by the window, glanced over at her son, smiling softly at the boy as he sang along to the Disney songs.

Pepper suddenly got a text, making her jump. She looked down, cursed under her breath, and took a deep breath. "Hey, Bambi, I have to step out for a meeting for a moment. Can you stay here? FRIDAY and Jarvis will be around if you need anything and they can come get me."

The toddler nodded, not taking his eyes off his tower. His mother planted a soft kiss on his head, then headed out.

Peter continued to play, not minding being on his own at all. He was a good kid, very content to play with his toys and keep himself entertained, and he knew that his mom got stressed when his dad was out on missions, so he was especially good today.

After he finished his tower, he looked around the room, eager for something else to work on. He'd used all his legos on the tower, and now he was bored.

"FRIDAY?" The little boy's voice was soft and sweet, and if the AI could have cooed, she would have. "Do you know where the chemistry set and the engineering stuff my Dad got me is?"

"Yes, Peter, I'll have an intern bring it up."

Peter waited patiently, and when the intern gave him the 2 little kits, he said thank you and started working. For a 6 year old, Peter was extremely smart.

He tinkered with the sets for a while, before a huge crash startled the boy and he jumped up. The window behind him was shattered, and glass was all over the floor. A red, white, and blue shield was stuck in the opposite wall, and Peter bounced over to inspect it. Just as the small child was about to touch the shield, Captain America came through the window.

The tall, blond, super soldier looked around before mumbling "Tony's gonna kill me." He swept his eyes around the room before settling them on his shield and the boy next to it.

"Hello," he said, sending the child an award winning smile. "I think you found my shield."

Peter furrowed his brow. "I didn't find it, it found me. It came through my window."

Steve's smile faltered slightly. This kid was sassy.

"You can take that back, now, and I think you'll have to sorry to my Dad about the window," Peter said, walking back over to his project.

"Your dad? I'm sure Stark will pay for the window," Steve laughed. Peter sighed.

"I know. That's why you have to say sorry."

Now it was Steve's turn to furrow his brow. This kid was being confusing. The super solider walked closer to the boy, noticing that he was playing with a chemistry set and some old engineering tools.

"Whatcha making?" There was a hint of genuine interest in Steve's voice.

"I'm making something to show my dad. I wanna be just like him when I grow up and I don't have powers, so I'll have to just make my own!"

"Wait, is your dad a superhero? Like me?"

Peter laughed a little. "He's much cooler than you!"

Steve was about to say something, but just at that moment, there was the sound of thrusters and Ironman stepped into the tower.

"What the hell are you doing with my kid?!?"

Steve whipped his head from the man in the suit to the child in front of him.

"Your what?"

Tony sighed. "We'll talk about this later, just get out! I don't want anyone to follow us up here and get a hold of him."

With that, Tony flew back out, and Steve followed quickly. Peter shook his head and went back to his work, ignoring the trashed room around him.

Peter was at the dining table getting lunch with his mom when he heard the elevator ding. His dad was home!

Tony walked into the penthouse, only to feel the weight of his son crash into his legs.

"Hey, Underoos!" The little kid looked up at his dad with big eyes and an even bigger smile.

"Hi!"

"You wanna meet my friends, Pete? I know you met one of them earlier," Tony said, picking up his son and sending a glare at Steve.

"Sure!"

Peter was introduced to everyone, and everyone asked the same question: He's really yours?

Tony sighed heavily. "Peter is mine, yes. Mine and Pepper's, and he is the most wonderful part of my life. I don't let him in the press or really take him with me places because I don't want him to be in danger. This idiot," he said with a thumb jerk towards Steve. "Crashed through a room earlier and nearly scared me half to death, the last thing I want is for Peter to be in harms way."

Steve chuckled nervously before ruffling Peter's hair and heading into the kitchen to get water.

"You wanna see what I made today, Dad?" Peter wiggled in his father's arms, getting excited to show his dad.

"Of course, buddy!"

The kid ran out of the room, down some stairs, and out of sight. "It's a Lego model Stark Tower," Steve said, taking a sip from his glass. "I saw it earlier."

"And your point?" Tony raised an eyebrow. "Whatever he brings me will be amazing."

The team was shocked. Tony Stark was clearly totally in love with this kid. What's more, he seemed to be a completely new man when he was with the kid.

Peter returned quickly, struggling with something on his wrist. "Dad! I wanna be like you when I grow up, but I don't have any powers! So I made my own!" The small child suddenly pointed his hand towards Steve and pushed a button on his wrist with his other hand. A string of sticky white fiber shot out, sticking Steve to the cabinets behind him.

"What the-"

"Peter! Those are amazing!" Tony ran closer to his son, grabbing the boys arms and looking at the early stage web shooters with awe. Bruce stepped froward, too, hoping to get a better look.

"Are those supposed to be like spider webs?" Natasha moved towards the child as well, and kneeling down, took the child into her lap. "You know, I'm called Black Widow, and thats a kind of spider, too!"

Peter giggled, and wrapped his arms around Natasha's neck. "I love spiders!"

Natasha smiled, a genuine smile. "Do you wanna go play?"

"After lunch," Peter said seriously. "Lunch is an important meal."

Everyone laughed, but Steve interrupted. "Can someone get me out of this stuff?"

"I don't know," Clint said. "Looks like you landed yourself in a sticky situation."

"Oh, jeez," Sam groaned.

"Shut up, Katniss," Tony and Peter said at the same time. The whole family laughed again, and when the roaring laughter finally ended, Pepper was holding her sides.

"He's definitely your son, Tones."
