I know I haven't posted a Kidnapped part in a while, so just in case you forgot what was happening, read the two parts before continuing with this.

So, without further adieu, grab some popcorn and buckle up, this is almost 3,000 words.

(Many spelling mistakes may be present due to how long this is)

Tony's P.O.V.

"Our help? With what?" I ask.

"You see... Well.. Could I come inside?" He asks.

I was about to invite him in when I hear footsteps approach behind me. I turn around and see Steve.

"Hey hon, everything okay?" He asks.

"Oh, yeah, Doct-"

"I'm sorry, can we help you? We were having breakfast!" Steve says as if Doctor Strange had personally offended him.

"I'm sorry, but I'm trying to talk-"

"I don't care! What do you want?" Steve yells.

I put my hand on his back and rub it. I know this calms him down, and apparently he really needs it.

"Stevie, be nice! We don't even know him." I say.

He takes a deep breath and kisses my for head and whispers, "I know.. I just..." He doesn't finish his sentence.

Doctor Strange seems uncomfortable, but not by Steve's attitude towards him, but how we're showing affection.

"So, Doctor Strange, how can we help you?" I ask.

"Like I was trying to say, I need your help. I'm afraid the universe is at stake, and you're the only other person who seems like they can actually help." He explains.

"Wait, are you asking for just me, or the whole team?" I ask, confused by his wording.

"Tony, don't be dumb, he obviously needs all of us. Remember, we're all stronger as a team." Steve bumps in.

I feel insulted, but I put on a fake smile, I'm sure he didn't mean it in a bad way.

"No," Doctor Strange says, "I just need Mr. Stark."

Steve's eyes widen and he stands even taller. He looks like he's going to pounce.

What is wrong with him?

"I think we should meet up with everyone else. This is a decision the team needs to make. As a team." Steve growls.

He walks off and it leaves me and Doctor Strange in an awkward silence.

"I'm so sorry! I don't know what's gotten into him!" I say once he's out of earshot.

"Uh, don't worry about it. Sometimes people just don't like other people. And vice versa." He says.

"Oh.. Well, uh, come inside." I say.

He smiles, and it's small, but it's greatful. I smile back. My heart beats slightly faster. Why'd that happen? I haven't felt that feeling in a long time..
