I open the metal door of the cell. "Get up, now." I grab Colton's arm, forcing him to stand. He shoves me off him.

"Why?" I lower my voice.

"Moretti said it's plausible for a teleporter to exist on Amoria, albeit experimentally."

"Why should I care?"

"You want Vienna back? You'll come with me."

"We're back to this?" I rub my temples. Life would be so much easier if he just chose a side. After the civilians are gone, I will be taking Iris on a very long vacation, away from anyone sharing our name.

"Fine. If you do as I say, I'll reconsider your rank. Come with me." Alas, he listens. I knock on Bently's door. When he doesn't answer, I hear yelling. I knock again. Colton pushes past me, opening the door.

"He's a prince, mon loup," I hear through the phone. "What if I banned you from working with women?"

"Please do!" Bently screams into his phone. I clear my throat. "Abella, I have to go." He hangs up without a goodbye. "Yes, Preeminence?" I see his mouth start to form the word 'Beta' until he stops himself. Colton rolls his eyes.

"Digamma, fill Mr. Blackwood in on your duties. There will be a senate meeting in half an hour. Until then, don't get us into a damn war with France."

Another day, another emergency Senate meeting. Can it even count as an emergency if it happens every day? I fill my Order, plus Colton and Iris, on what Moretti told me. "So, teleportation is possible?" My Delta asks.

"Theoretically. It seems as if interdimensional may be."

"Preeminence, teleportation would revolutionize transportation."

"Thank you, Zeta. It's too bad we have a thing against revolutions." I rub my temples.

"Preeminence..." my brother starts. I look up at him, who sits to the side, with Iris. "Where are the civilians from?"

"The United States, Mr. Blackwood."

"Yes, sir. I was thinking more specifically. State, city."

"May I have your reasonings?"

"It'd be easier if I could sit at the grown-up table."

"Mr. Blackwood, if you don't have anything useful to contribute I suggest you go back downstairs." He takes a deep breath.

"If we know where the civilians were standing, I find it may be helpful to locate the same position in Elleany." I contemplate the idea.

"Khaleedi, are you suggesting there may be Amorian technology outside of the Estate?"

"I think it's worth a try. If you don't have any other thoughts." I take a deep breath. I did want a vacation.

"Choose your team, Mr. Blackwood. You're going on a road trip."
