Chapter Forty-Nine: The Morning After

BREAKFAST

AURORA'S POV

I walk slowly into the Hall and struggle to sit down. Charlotte winks at me while Ophelia raises an eyebrow.

OT: Rough night?

Charlotte bursts out laughing.

AM: You could say that...

Charlotte wheezes, slapping her knee. Ophelia smiles. I feel myself giggle a little bit. We all end up losing it.

TEDDY'S POV

I watch as Aurora slowly walks to her House table and has a lot of difficulties sitting. I grin to myself as they all start laughing.

NMW: What are you smiling at?

TL: Nothing...nothing.

NMW: She had a bit of trouble sitting down. Care to explain?

TL: Uh...

NMW: No. No way. Did you two...?

TL: Possibly...

NMW: NO WAY!

TL: Shh oh my god.

NMW: Did you really?

TL: Stoooop.

NMW: Little Teddy Lupin did whaaat?

TL: nothing.

NMW: Little Lupin fucked his girl.

TL: You make it sound so insincere.

NMW: Was it good?

TL: Bro, I swear, you are so nosy.

NMW: Just asking. Was it?

TL: I'm going to go sit with Aurora.

Teddy grabs a bagel off of Nico's plate and gets up shoving it in his mouth.

TL: Oh and uh...yeah...it was.

He rushes over to Aurora leaving Nico with his mouth hanging open. Charlotte's eyes widen as he sits down next to Aurora.

TL: Sleep well?

AM: Uh...yeah.

TL: Good.

Ophelia eyes Teddy from across the table.

OT: So...where did you two run off to during Yule?

TL: Uh...

AM: They know already. They're just being assholes.

She punches Ophelia's shoulder.

TL: Oh. Okay.

OT: At least you guys did something interesting last night. I sat alone by the punch bowl for the remainder of the night. Then I came back to my room to see Aurora laying under extremely mangled sheets and I figured she had a better night than me. 

AM: Oh god. This is so embarrassing. 

OT: Must've been rough.

They all start laughing again, Teddy nearly choking on the bagel.

TL: Guess that's the werewolf in me.

CW: You did not!

He laughs into his cup of pumpkin juice.

AM: Yeah...he did. He's so extra.

CW: I can't honestly tell what you see in him.

AM: Charlotte...have you seen him? Ever?
