Chapter 5: Into A New Journey

~Lucy's Point Of View~

It was 7:30 when I began gathering my belongings before finally making my way to the forest entrance. Before I reached the entrance I began to think it has been awhile since I have been in town maybe I should dress nicely instead of going in my training clothes which consisted of shorts and long sleeve shirts. I decided to dress a bit better today.

Once I was happy with my appearance I finally left the forest greeted by a morning breeze and a short walk to reach town. When I reached town I decided to look for more keys, before I met with Sting. I didn't have good luck 3 months ago I didn't find a single key then. Hopefully this morning I'll have better luck this time, which I did. I was simply walking around until I found the new and remodeled magic shop. 

To my amazing luck I found two silver gate keys that I've been dying to have and one black key? I couldn't help but run inside and look and the keys in the window. I wonder what keys these are? 

"Well young maiden, these keys are, The Healer, Herupa. She can be summoned with her key or when her master is in need of urgent care." He said point to the silver key with a white angel like outline. 

"This is here is known as The Informer, Cortana. She knows all about the history of Legends and is filled with facts about the world and universe." Pointing to the silver key what seemed to be an outline of a book. 

"What about this one?" I asked pointing to the black key with a outline of a cat with what seemed like two tails, and a bit of red with what looked like...flames? . "I've never seen these type before." 

"Ah yes, the black keys. There aren't many of them at the most I must say five keys. You see, these keys are made by Celestial Wizards themselves. I don't know much about them, but the most I know of this key is it's a Demon Cat, Kirara. I don't know much about it. The key was left here three months ago." 

"How much for all three of them?" He seemed taken back when I asked for the price. "Well, if you take the black key I'll let you have the other two for 50,000 jewels. And make a membership here for 100 jewels to be informed when I have new keys available." "It's a deal." We shook hands I let go he reached for the keys while I pulled out 50,100J. I should really go on jobs again. I haven't lately,because FairyTail is no more. 

"Thank you, kind sir." I said as I opened the door making an exit. 

"No thank you, kind maiden." I waved as I walked into the busy streets of Crocus. I'll make the contracts with my new spirits after I meet Sting.

By the time I made it out into the store it was already the afternoon. To be exact it was 3:45pm. 

"I guess it time I meet Sting at the Café." I said quietly to myself walking down the street I met Sting at. I reached the café and took a seat in one of the booths next to the window. Shortly after I sat down a women walked to my booth and placed a menu in front of me. As I picked it up I froze in place. 

Sting never told me what time to meet him. Many questions made their way into my head. Did he already show up? Did he get tired of waiting? Did he go back to his guild already? Did he forget about the promise? The questions were too much for me to handle. I jumped out of my booth and went to a nearby waitress. 

"Excuse me, did a man with blonde hair come by today?" I asked. "I'm terribly sorry mam. Many people with blonde hair come here. I couldn't possibly remember them all. If you give a better description I might be able to help." I couldn't help but think he forgot about me like Natsu did. I took a deep breath and tried to explain, "Okay thank you so much. He has sky blue eyes." I pointed to my eyes. 

"About this tall." Putting my hand over my head I noticed she looked away from me for a second. 

"Always smirks. And-" I was cut off by a pair of hands covering my eyes. "Guess who? ~" I quickly grabbed the hands and threw from my face. I turned to see Sting in front of me smirking. "Damn it, Blondie, you got a lot stronger." He said holding his arm with I threw down by his side. 

"Sting! I thought you forgot about today." I yelled hitting him light on his arm.

"Why would I forget about meeting you today, I promised didn't  I." I couldn't help but blush at his comment. I turned my head away from him to avoid his gaze I to face the booth I was just sitting at a moment ago. 

"L-Lets go sit down." 

"Ladies first" I blushed once again. He wasn't like this three months ago. My thoughts were cut off by a waiter. 

"Hello I'll be your waiter for this evening. What would you like?" "Ill take one of the specials, but 3 times more food on the plate, and red wine." I could see the waiter surprised by Stings order. I had to giggle which I did. 

"And for the young Lady?" Its just like 3 months ago.

 "I'll take the same but normal portions, and water." 

"Your order will be ready in a bit. Please wait." It was silent between us not awkward but peaceful. Part of me don't want this to end I'm not sure why. Until my thoughts were interrupted 

"So Blondie , How was your training?" He asked trying to start a conversation instead of this silence. "It went really well. I say I got 3 times stronger than when I started if I do say so myself." 

"I noticed I could sense your magic energy from a far." I was surprised. Had I really become so much stronger than before. 

"Nice Job Blondie, but I have another question." He seemed a bit impatient to ask. 

"Okay ask away ." I leaned back in my chair as I noticed how serious he became. 

"Have you thought about my proposal? Do you have an answer?" I was taken back by his question, but this is why we are here. I kept thinking over my final thoughts when I hear someone calling me. 

I was snatched out my thoughts by Sting yelling my name causing everyone to stare. "Are you okay?" I blushed out of embarrassment. 

"Yeah I'm fine." The waiter came with our food. 

"Enjoy your meal!"The waiter said as he placed our food in front of us. 

"Your answer then?" He said grabbing a fork. 

"I have put a lot of thought into it and I do want to join Sabertooth to leave FairyTail in the past." I said quietly. 

I could see his face light up with joy. "Perfect!"
