Chapter 34: Why Are You here?

Lucy's Point of View

By the time we finished breakfast I was already done washing the dishes and happily skipping out the door with Kirara and the exceeds following  closely behind. Halfway to the Crocus Castle I saw MInerva wondering around town once her eyes landed on us she jogged to meet us.

"Finally, I found you guys!" Minerva said as she hugged me.

"Why were you looking for us?"  Sting asked as I separating the hug.

"Jason is at the guild and he is going insane looking for you guys! I cant handle it." Minerva says fake crying on my shoulder. I laugh at her actions and rub her  back.

"I need you guys there at least for a few hours to keep him busy!" She continued. I looked to Sting and Rogue since they knew where I was headed. They looked to each other before Rogue nodded to Sting who hesitantly nodded.

"We'll go along with our partners . Lucy has some errands to run." Rogue said as he picked up Frosch. 

"That's great, but I made a mistake by telling him about our new future mascot." She said as she picked up Kirara.

"He really, and I mean REALLY wants to see her."  She said as she pet Kirara's head who purred in response. 

"That's perfectly okay with me. Just make sure he doesn't suffocate with her with pictures." I said giving her a smile.

"I'll watch her, don't worry Lucy." Lector said as he raised his hand in the air reassuring me.

"You go on ahead. We'll go to the guild while you do what you need to." Sting finally spoke as he began walking past me going the direction of the guild. 

Sting then walked my direction and slowly nearing my ear. 

"If something goes wrong, be sure to call my name and i'll be there as soon as I can." His breath tickled my ear with every work he said causing my face to heat up.

"O-okay." I said as I continued my way to the Crocus Kingdom.

~Timeskip Outside the Kingdom~

I've been her for for  almost an hour waiting on his release from the Kingdom. I heard some small commotion coming from inside before I saw the main doors swing open. I saw man walk out with a familiar smirk on his face as the guards yelled "Don't come back!" or You won't be as lucky next time!" and phrases close to those. 

Our eyes met once again and I couldn't help but smile as he sprinted towards me.

"Looks like you got acquitted, huh?" I said as I placed my hands behind my back hiding the missing FairyTail Mark.

"Lucy! You came to see us all by yourself? Wheres everyone else?" Natsu asked happily frantically looking around for our old team.

"Why isn't the rest of FairyTail with you?" Happy asked doing the same. I looked down.

"You haven't heard, have you?" They both gave me questionable looks. 

"I'll fill you in on what happened then." 

I explained how the guild disbanded and how everyone went their separate ways. I also told them how I haven't heard from any of them since the disbandment of the guild.  After i told them about it they sat there not believing what they had just heard.

"The guild disbanded?" They said in unison. I couldn't help but look away.

"I really don't understand myself. After the battle the master announced it and hes been missing since."

"That old geezer could have let Laxus take over instead of just going off on his own!" At the end of his comment I tilted my head down without thinking I started talking.

"Thats funny, but can you really say that yourself?" I looked back up and they flinched.

"Oh sorry don't mind me. Its just hard to think about them again." I said laughing a bit. I stood up and began walking towards my house. I gestured them to follow.

It was fairly quiet on the way back to my house, Happy was sleeping in my arms the whole walk. I looked at Natsu as he looked at scenery of the area. He must have noticed since he turned to be with a surprised face. I giggled a bit and could see him blush.

"Lucy, can I have a favor?" Natsu asked.

"Sure, I'll try my best."

"Really?! Its really easy. Would you have Crabby cut my hair back to how it was before? The long hair is pretty annoying." He said as he fondled with his hair. I laughed once again before agreeing.

Eventually we arrived to my apartment, I saw Natsu's jaw drop which made me laugh once again. I opened the door to my home and Happy began to wake up and flew out of my arms making it easier.

"This is your crib, Lucy?!" Natsu  said as he entered the living room.

"It's huge!" Happy added.

"Yep! Its gets pretty crowded with my roommates. But since you guys probably don't have a place then I let you crash here." 

"Praise My Angel!" " The God Lucy!"

"Dont over exaggerate." I said laughing. Before it got late I completed Natsu's favor and summoned Cancer. After Cancer finished Natsu looked like him old self. 

"Their not here yet. Maybe Jason has them busy." I said imagining what their doing.

"Who are you talking about Lucy?" Happy asked gaining Natsus' attention.

"My roommates. Should be here by now. They'll probaly come back a little later since their most likely busy."

"But anyways I'm going to bed. You guys have to sleep on the couch. That's the best I can do."

"What!? Can't we sleep with you instead?" Natsu yelled.

"No, you idiot my room is of limits! You hear!" They nodded quickly and jumped onto the couch which was layered with pillows and blankets.

~Natsu's Point of View~

The lights are out and It's a bit passed midnight and I couldn't sleep from questions going through my head. Why did the guild disband?  Where's Gramps? Where is Everyone? But more importantly who are Lucy's roommates? Could it maybe be Levy or Cana, or both? She did say Roommates. 

While I was in the middle of thinking, I heard grunts and whines coming closer to the house. I sat up and carefully watched the door.

"He wouldn't leave us alone just cause Lucy wasn't there!" I heard a voice say.

"Shut up would you? It's late and you'll wake up the neighbors." Another voice? Then I heard a smack followed by a grunt.

"What was that f-" 

"Just get inside." The voices got closer and closer until I heard the front door s knob turn and swing open.  The lights turned on and showed the Duo Dragon Slayers walking in.

"We're Home! Blon-" Once Sting caught my glimpse his whole expression and attitude changed completely. 

"What are you doing here?"  We said in unison glaring  angrily at each other.
