Chapter .23. Raj Tilak

Some days later, Govind called a meeting for elders in Arvindra's room.

Arvindra : Govind kya baat hai beta...yu achanak apne sabko yaha bola liya?(Govind what happen...why you called everyone here suddenly.?)

Govind : papa sa, hum kuch baat karni hi aap sabse.(dad, I want to discuss something with all of you.)

Arjun : kya baat he bhai sa(what's the matter brother)

Govind : hum retire hone chahte hai...desh ghumna chahte hi...vo karna chate hi jo abhi tak yuvraj aur raja hone ki vajhe se nhi karpye...aap sab jante hai humme traveling aur adventure ka kitna pasand hai....toh humne aur versha jii ne ye soocha hai ki ab hum retirement le ke world tour par jana chahte hai. ( I want to get retire now... want to travel..want to do thing I couldn't due to being a crown prince and then king....you all know how much I like traveling and adventures....so I and versha has decided to take retirement and will go on world tour.)

Arjun : par bhai sa ye acchanak? (but why suddenly brother?)

Versha : humne toh ye bhot phele hi sooch rakha tha par aapne raja banana se mana kardiya toh hum kar he kya sakte the.(we have already decided this long before but you previously rejected the throne so what could we had done then.)

In the past, Arjun was asked to take the throne after Govind but he rejected it saying he is better at being an aside and can't handle the responsibility. Arjun was always his brother's right hand, most trusted man and can never even imagine taking his brother's place. Neither Arjun nor Hema wants the title of king and queen, they are happy enough being living and sharing happiness with the family.

Hema : bhabhi sa hum ye baat phele bhi kar chuke hi na...phir ab ye sab phirse kyo?(sister-in-law, we had previously decided these then why again now?)

Govind : phirse isiliye kyoki humme vichar aya ke agar aap sab ko sahi lage toh hum Veer ka Raj tilak karna chahte hi.( again now because we thought to pass the throne to Veer .)

Arjun : ye bhot acha vichar hi bhai sa...aur ab Veer bhi bhot badal gaye hi phele se...ab vo ye jimedari lene le liye taiyar hai aur phir hum toh he na vaha unko disha dekhane. (it's right brother...veer has changed a lot in these years...now he has become more responsible and nevertheless I am also here to guide him if needed.)

Hema : Veer humare phele bête hi...hume unpe pura barhosa hai ki ve eek acche Raja banengye...aur hum sabne Ayushi ko toh dekha he hi unme rani banne ke pure guun hi.(veer was always our first son...I trust him that he will become a very responsible and right king for people...and we all have seen Ayushi, she will become a responsible queen.)

Arvindra : humme bhi ye sahi lagta hi.(I also think the same.)

Geeta : toh purohit jii ko bola ke hum eek uchit din nikalva lete hi.(the I will call the priest to find a auspicious date.)

Versha : par humme baki baacho se bhi ye baat karleni chaiye na.(but we should talk with other children as well.)

Hema : bhabhi sa vo sab bhi iss nirnye se bhot khush hongye.(sister-in-law, they will be very happy about the decision.)

Versha : par phir bhi ....eek bar unsab se baat karni chahiye.( but then also...we should talked to them once about this.)

Arjun : theek hi bhabhi sa agar aap sabko theek lage toh hum baacho se baat karte hi.(ok sister-in-law, I will talk to them.)

Later at dining table, Arjun told everyone about the decision made and all were super happy and excited, they even started planning for the event, started preparing guest list and their outfits and new responsibilities they will be carrying from then on. But Ayushi seems quite nervous; her nervousness was observed by veer and other females. Versha and Hema talked to Ayushi alone and help her to get ready for the new title and new responsibility attached with it.
