Chapter .36. Pagphere ki Rasam.

Next morning everyone came back from Kerala to Rajasthan, but since whole marriage rituals were done in bride's culture so they decided to have one ritual from Groom's side. On reaching palace, rituals for welcoming bride took place with a lot of fun and happiness.

During mooh dikhai rasam, Rathore elder were confused about what to do about Paghere rasam, as Kriti's family has not yet came back from their village.

Vijay (Ayushi's father) : aap log chinta kyo kar rahe hai, Kriti ab humari bhi toh beti hai. (why are you all worrying, Kriti is also our daughter now.)

Anna (Ayushi's mother) : haan agar aap logo ko aur Kriti toh theek lage toh hum use pagphere ke liye humare ghar le jana chahte hai. ( yaa if you all agree , we want to take kriti to our home for the ritual.)

Rathore elder's had a wide smile on their faces but before they can agree the decision has to be made by kriti only.

Hema : Kriti beta, aap chale jayogye Anna ji ke yaha pagphere ki rasam ke liye?(kriti, do you agree to go to anna ji house for pagphere?)

Arjun : beta humlog aapko force nahi karengye, ye decision aapka hone chahiye. ( we won't be forcing you, this must be your decision only.)

Kriti : kya mei sach mei ye kar sakti hu? (can I really do this?)

Vijay : beta, aap humare liye Ayushi jyse he toh ho.(daughter, you are similar to Ayushi for us.)

Anna : haan humari choti beti.*anna slightly pulled kriti's left cheek with love*(yaa, our little daughter.)

Kriti : thank you aunty.

Anna : kya aunty? No no aap hume badi ma boliye. ( what aunty? You will call me badi maa.)

Vijay : haan hume bade papa. Hum apke papa se surely bade he hongye.( and I be bade papa. I am surely elder than your father.)

Kriti : *kriti hugged both of them* thank you bade ma, bade papa.

Vijay :*breaking the hug said* par hum humari betiyon ko sirf ek ye do din ke liye nahi le jayengye balki pure 2 hafte ke liye le jana chahte hai. (but I won't be taking my daughter only for a day or two, they will be going for atleast 2 weeks.)

Govind : par 2 hafte toh bhot jada hai vijay ji. ( 2 weeks are too long Vijay ji.)

Ajay : haan bhot jada hai uncle. ( ya its too long duration uncle.)

Sammy : haan papa mei isko 2 din na jhelu, 2 hafte toh bhot dor ki baat hai.*he said pointing to Ayushi; who was only concentrating on her ice cream with Avi*( yes dad, I can't handle this person for 2 days, 2 weeks are not a point here.)

Vijay : kya kaha tune!!!( what you said.)*Vijay glared at Sammy, and Sammy got back under his shell.*

Sammy : hahaha., mei toh majak kar raha tha..*vijay narrowed his eyes on him*, mera matlab tha, 2 hafte he kyo pura maheena hai rakh lo.(I was joking,....i meant, why 2 weeks take a whole month.)

Ajay : no ways.*he shouted*

Ashu : haan uncle iss bichare ka toh soocho abhi abhi toh shaadi hui he iski.*Ashu said pointing to Ajay and Ajay nodded in agreement*( yes, uncle he got married yesterday, think for him as well.)

Vijay : hume kuch nahi pata, humari dono betiya 2 hafto ke liye humare ghar chal rahe hai bas.( I don't know anything, my both daughters are coming for 2 weeks and that's final.)

Ajay : uncle aap maximum 2 din ke liye le jaa sakte hai...aur vo bhi sirf rasam hai isiliiye.(uncle you can take them for maimum 2 days not more than that...and that too because of this ritual.)
