"Callum!"

Ryan came towards the shorter lad when seeing Callum having a chart in hand, "Swap with me." Callum furrowed his eyebrows, "Why? Who's service are you on?"

"Torres. I need to speak to Lexie." Ryan knew that Callum was on Dr Robbin's service which he liked being on, especially after the whole kid to his chest scenario, "Fine." Ryan thanked the short brunette with a hand on his shoulder.

It was weird cause at the start, Ryan hated Callum, for the way he took over whenever the two had to be on a service together. He hated him, but know that he spent a little time with the Ritchie male and actually had some common interests with him that Ryan knew they were going to be friends. Callum, just like Ryan had to choose between a sport that he loved or med school and the two choose the latter.

"I owe you one!" Ryan shouted down the hallway when he now had his patient's chart in hand, entering the Peds floor, "Ryan, what are you doing here? You're not on my service this week," Dr Robbins smiled when coming over to the resident that she saw so much potential in.

Ryan looked at his mentor, "I swapped with Callum Ritchie," He said to Arizona who then nods her head, "Ok. Come with me, your sister just paged me." Ryan did as said, following after the Pediatric surgeon into the little boy's hospital room.

Where Dr Robbins has gotten the ultrasound wand in her hand, checking the boy's stomach, "You sure it's ok to give him this much medicine when we don't know what's wrong with him." The father calmly asked Dr Robbins, "It's not going to hurt him." Ryan reassured the dad, "He needed a painkiller, Jim. I'm telling you, he needed it." The kid's mother, Kelly told her husband.

Lexie then came into the room, "Upper right chest and K.U.B are negative." She told her superior as Dr Robbins looked at the results, "Little Grey," Ryan stayed in place as Dr Robbins orders Lexie, "Go get him set up for a CT with contrast."

"How could this have happened?"

Kelly sighed, "Just say it. You think I missed something." Jim shook his head, "Honey, I don't." The man clarified, "Yes, you do. Just admit it." Kelly told her husband, who sighed, "Ok, fine. I mean, how do you miss a fever this high?"

Ryan looked between the two parents, "Guys, this isn't going to help." He clarified to the parents, "Kids get sick. It is no one's fault." Ryan told them both as Dr Robbins nods her head, keeping her eyes on the ultrasound, "Yes, it is. It's my fault."

"Oh, Kelly, don't."

The said women looked down at her husband, "If you had been with him and this happened, I'd be blaming you. I would kill you if you had him and this happened." Dr Robbins out the ultrasound wand down, "Ok. I need to get him to CT. I've also added an I.V antibiotic because he's septic, and I want to make sure that we've covered everything." The Pediatric attending told his parents, "Maybe he ate something off the ground?"
