Mirana walks through the parking garage, walking next to Stanton as she tries to ignore his side glances at her.

"So, now we have to protect a drug lord? Can't we just take an early lunch and let nature take its course?"

"No one asked for your opinion," Mirana says, rolling her eyes.

"Any real questions?" Angela throws a glare at Stanton.

"Anyone have a case on her? DEA? FBI?" Tim asks and Angela shakes her head.

"She's on everyone's radars, but there's no open warrants in the US. So as far as we're concerned, she's clean,"

"She's a leyenda urbana," Mirana says. "My father tried to make a deal with her for a partnership-"

"You've met La Fiera?" Angela's head snaps back to look at Mirana.

"My father hosted her in our house," Mirana nods.

"You're coming with me to meet her once we get to the college," Angela says. "She might be more receptive-"

"Angela, I was twelve at the time," Mirana shakes her head.

"It's worth a shot," Angela shrugs. "It might make her a bit more receptive to our help"

"Okay," Mirana shrugs.

"Think she has private security?" Nolan asks Angela.

"Definitely," Angela replies. "And they'll be packing. Let's pray we get there before the trouble starts"

Mirana walks with Angela, in plain clothes and a vest, as they approach La Fiera and her son who are walking with a campus tour guide.

"All units. Found them. Lopez and Cabrera, Humanities building, east entrance,"

As soon as La Fiera's private security spots the two women with LAPD vests, they reach for their guns.

"Remain calm. I'm Detective Lopez with the Los Angeles Police Department," Angela says.

"And I'm Officer Mirana Cabrera,"

"Cabrera?" La Fiera asks. "It can't be. Little Mirana?"

"Vivir y en carne y hueso," Mirana nods.

"What can I do for the two of you?" La Fiera asks causing Angela and Mirana to glance at her son. "You may speak freely in front of my son. I hide nothing from him"

"There's a credible threat against your life," Mirana says.

"I have officers ready to escort you to a safe location," Angela adds, reaching for her vest and Mirana stops her.

Mirana hands La Fiera her vest and the woman slips it onto her son.

"Thank you. My son is my life,"
