The alarm sounds as I yawned and looked over at November as she too has awakened, looking at me as I smiled softly and brush back her hazel-brown hair.

"Time to get up, sweetie...long day ahead of us!" I said as I yawned and looked at the clock: 4:30am.

It was the last week of October as I opened the porch door to let in the moist sea breeze as I inhaled and stood there...scared out of my wits. November walks over as she wraps her arm around my waist as we both stood there in the twilight of our room, looking out upon the black ocean illuminated by the bright light of the waxing gibbous...

Seven days...that was all the time that we had left in this world!

Seven days before this world ends under the setting of the All Hollow's Eve full moon and the rising of the Samhain sun...the death of time, the death of reality and the death of hope...the end of the Paradox.

31 Words for 31 Days. My message to the future was clear.

13 years of history built off of a tragedy.

13 years living in a false world made of our own making.

Blake, November, Caitlynn, mom, and I have all seen it...and yet...as we all converge on the island capitol of Nassau...we dread what is still yet to come!

"Have courage for our friends...past and present!" November says as she holds me, tight.

"I will miss all of this! And hopefully we'll meet here again...and still be the best of friends!" I comment as I know that if I succeed...I will no longer be Skylynn Danica, but be known forever as Carolynn Acacia...a completely different person in a different dimension of time.

"Lovers." November adds as I smiled.

"Sweetheart...you are aware of what I will become if I end this paradox! Right?" November nodded, knowing my future.

"Yes." she commented. However, I could tell that she was struggling with a future that would require her to fall in love with a woman, if she wishes to remain in love with me.

I gently kissed her on the lips as I looked softly into her eyes, remarking.

"We should get dressed, my love. Mom will be expecting us." November leaves me be as I walked over and picked up Caitlynn's locket as I opened it and looked down at the faded image of my beloved sister.

'It won't be long now, sis...just six more days. Please give me strength!'

With the click of the locket, I then transformed back into Caitlynn as I dressed in a comfortable white button-down tee-shirt and thigh-length white shorts. November then came over as she looks at me and smiles as she examined my fashion choices with a critics review.
