I dashed out of my office when I felt my mate's pain. Shifting to my black wolf, I can hear my beta calling for me. But I blocked everyone out of my mind. My wolf is focus on finding my mate that is in danger. Whoever tried to touch what is mine will never see the living daylights ever again, I will make sure of it. No one ever messes up with an Alpha's mate, never. Especially mine, I am Alpha King Thaddeus Dalton of the Black Moon pack. The strongest in Alpha of all Alphas.
I sniffed her scent and to my horror, it was her blood. Enrage, I growled. But whimpers escaped my lips when I felt her pain again. I will do anything to save her even if it means losing my life.
My blood went cold, when I felt an extreme pain in my gut. No, no, she can't be dead! I sprinted faster following the trail of her scent. Hoping that I can still save her. Even though deep inside me, I know there is nothing to hope anymore. But if you have a mate, you will hope anything until it is right before your eyes. But sometimes the moon goddess can be cruel to.
When I saw her, my wolf whimpered in pain. I shifted back and fell to my knees beside her. She's lying on the ground blood surrounding her. My blood went cold, seeing her lifeless. If only I was a better mate and I was earlier, I might have saved her. She might still be full of life and smiling beside me.
