Lifting my bags at my shoulder, I scanned the pack territory for the last time. Sighing, I felt uncertainty to leave the lands I grew up. But I shook my head, this is the right thing to do. Go with your mate and live with him.

"You ready to leave, my little mate?"

I turned around and saw Thaddeus smiling at me softly. This one of the few times that I never think of being his second mate, the times he call me his little mate.

"Maybe..." I whispered, forgetting the fact that werewolf's senses are more sharpened than normal humans, especially the Alphas, Betas and Gammas.

He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and his chin is on top of my head. I sighed with content, I wish he would be like this all the time. No doubts about us, all love and hope.

"I'm ready to wait for you Thaddeus, take all the time you want. I promise, I will wait. I won't give up, and if you want, you could even place a picture at our room." I tried not to let the tears fall, good thing they worked.

I took a deep breath, "And if you don't want me to sleep on the bed that she occupied before? I will use another room. Just please... Give me a chance to prove that I can be a good mate, Luna and I can be by your side all the time.

"Selena you-"

"Alpha! The car has arrived." Rovan called out with Francheska by his side.

Thaddeus nodded and sighed, "I'll be the one to carry your bags."

I was about to protest, but shook my head instead. There's no way he will listen anyway. So I just walked behind him.

I scanned the people surrounding us to see if my brother is here, and I did.

"Hey big bro..." I called out softly.

Hr hugged me, "Take care of yourself there little sis, do you here me? Or I swear, I will go crazy if something bad happen to you."

I laughed softly, of course he will find a way to lighten up a dramatic situations. After all, he hates drama.

"Yeah I know, just make sure that you take care of this pack okay? And if you ever hurt my best friend, brother or not, I will beat your ass. Do you understand?" I warned him.

He chuckled, "Crystal clear sister, I love you sis."

"I love you too big bro."

I took a step back leaving the warmth of the embrace of my brother. I felt a pang of sadness as I realized it will be a long time, before I can visit my pack again.

"Let's go Sel?"

I nodded towards Thaddeus and gave a smile to everyone who smiled back sadly. I would never forget this pack, never.

"Alpha, who would you like to drive? Me or you?" Rovan asked bowing his head in respect.

Thaddeus turned towards me, "What do you say little mate? Would you want to stay at the back or the front seat?"

"Definitely at the back, so we can talk between ourselves."

"I'm ready to wait for you Thaddeus, take all the time you want. I promise, I will wait. I won't give up, and if you want, you could even place a picture at our room." She whispered, as she hugged me back. Taking me by surprise with her gentle words.

She took a deep breath, "And if you don't want me to sleep on the bed that she occupied before? I will use another room. Just please... Give me a chance to prove that I can be a good mate, Luna and I can be by your side all the time."

It kept on running inside my head like an endless train. I watched her as she peacefully slept breathing slowly. I never knew, she felt the need to prove that she deserved to be my mate, my Luna.

Artemis doesn't need to prove anything! Orion growled in my mind.

I felt guilt hit me, Yes... But how can we tell her?

He didn't answer, then I realized that does not know either. How many times do I need to ask the moon goddess, how did I deserved to have two beautiful and loving mates?

I shook my head, I will never get an answer. So I need to stop asking for one or else I will end up disappointed. Slowly, as I watch her breathe I fell asleep as well.

I can feel someone shaking me, but I ignored it.

"Alpha, Luna. We have arrived at our destination."

I opened my eyes and saw Rovan looking tired from the trip. I wanted to laugh at his expression but decided not to.

I yawned, "Yeah, yeah. I'm awake get out of my face now Beta."

He laughed, "Wow, is that how you treat your best friend? Well I'm gonna let it slide since you just woke up. Now, get your ass of the car seat Alpha."

The way he said the word Apha, as if he was mocking me. But I ignored it anyway, he's my best friend anyway.

"Am I gonna wake the Luna, Thadd?" Rovan questioned looking beside me.

I shook my head, "Nah, I'll just carry her to our room. She really looks tired, so I'm just gonna let her sleep."

He nodded and left me inside the car. I turned to look at the sleeping angel beside me, and unintentionally, I smiled.

"I wish I could be the man that deserves you, but I can't. I'm too broken for an angel like you." I whispered sadly.

Thaddeus... My wolfed growled lowly, warning me through my next words.

I want to growl back instead I told him, Oh shut up Orion! I know what I'm doing. She's asleep, she won't hear anything I say.

He glared, You better be right! He growled out, blocking me again.

Damn it! My wolf is such a stupid, immature and annoying!

Shaking my head, I lifted my mate into my arms.

"No, mom..." She muttered in her sleep, frowning. I have a feeling what she's dreaming about is unpleasant. Which made me worried, about her.

I climbed the stairs of my house, or pack house. I opened the room and kicked it close as I entered.

I lay her on my bed, but when I was about to leave I heard her whisper, "Thaddeus... Don't leave me. I promise... I won't give up."

And that made me turn back, and wished that I can assure her I won't. But I can't, because I still can't leave something behind.
