Sparky just stood there, weak but not ready to give up, even though he had fainted. "Sparky, please!" I begged. "Don't push yourself; the only thing it will do is cause you more harm! Please just go back in the pokeball!" I then went over to pick him up, but he used ice fang on me, which made me back up. Then, I opened my eyes to see Sparky glowing. Evolution! I thought. Just what the doctor ordered!
I watched as Sparky grew a little taller, and I saw a small mane form around his head. The glowing stopped, and Sparky looked different now; there was a lot more black fur around his body. "Lux!" He roared. He then looked at me with more determination in his eyes than ever. "I guess I can't force you to give up," I commented with a tiny smile. "Now, Sparky, use spark on Alomomola!" Sparky obeyed and used the move, which instantly knocked out Alomomola. Wishiwashi used water gun, but Sparky dodged.
"Now use thunder fang!" Sparky bravely charged forward and chomped Wishiwashi. Yellow sparks spurted out of the large pokemon as it instantly became small, then slammed into a tree and fainted. Sparky and I had won. My pokemon stepped back, hypervenilating lightly. "Lux...i...o!!!" Sparky let out a victory cry, and then collapsed on Lapras' back with a small thud. Clearly Sparky had pushed himself too far. I picked up my exhausted pokemon, then noticed something slightly glowing in Wishiwashis mouth.

I went over and picked it up; the second I touched it, I found myself underwater, swimming with all four of my pokemon. I looked around and saw lots of fish pokemon swimming freely. I swam down and touched a Shellder, who licked my hand.

I snapped back into reality when Sparky let out a low grunt and I realized I had to take him to the pokemon center. I put the Z-Crystal in my bag, said goodbye to Lana and went to the pokemon center.

"He'll be just fine," Nurse Joy reassured. "He's just pushed himself." As I sat and waited in the stuffy pokemon center, I pulled out my Waterium Z. Since I have three water types, I thought, now might be a perfect time to start teaching Bubble, Spike and Racky some Z-moves.
