chapter 21 (Fathers Secret)
KING MARIUS (VARAS FATHER) POV
Im currently in my office waiting for vara to come and talk to me about last night. I have something very important to tell her, something about my past that no one knows about it, except my wife, but she has a similar secret. but thats a different story. but how am I supposed to tell her? how will she take it? I need to get this off my chest, its a weight that I've been carrying for far to long. After witnessing what happened last night, I might already figured it out, I just want her to tell me about the werewolf.
*knock**knock*
"come in sweetheart"
"Hi sweetheart, how are you today" I said as I got up and walked over to her and embraced her in a hug. "Come sit down" I said as I gestured to the couch.
"I'm well father and you?"
"I'm alright, but there are a few things I'll like to discuss with you"
"Ok so were shall we start?" she aked hesitately
"Its up to you, do you want to go first or would you like me to first?" I asked her "Let me just say this first, whatever we speak about Stays between us understand?" she nodded
"um..I guess I should go first then.....I hate keeping secrets from you..."she said with a heavy sigh
"im just gonna say it and let you ask questions" she quickly added
"alright, go ahead sweetheart" I said sweetly as I embrace myself for whats coming

VARAS POV
I took a deep breath, and I'm so nervous right now. What if he gets angry? what if he disowns me? I'll never know until I tell him. I let the air out cause I was holding it.
"father I...umm..." I looked straight into his eyes and they held so compassion and I felt a little more relaxed. "Father I found my beloved" there I said it and I feel better but not entirely.
"Thats wonderful Vara!" he said hugging me tightly. "What clan is he from" he asked excitedly
"Um thats the thing father he's not from any clan...." I said still searching in his eyes, still see happiness in his eyes.
"Ok who is he and what is he?"
"He's um a werewolf" I said quickly closing my eyes waiting for some type of rejection, but nothing came. I felt strong arms slowly embracing me in a hug and I slowly opened my eyes.
