Chapter 9: Hello ALL-BOYS SCHOOL!: This isn't happening!

*Ethan's POV*

I woke up from my dreamless slumber. I looked at the watch at my night table. It reads 10:32. The practice ends late. Ok lang naman din yan sa school dahil dito lang naman din kami nakatira. Kaya kampante sila.

Since I just woke up, I can't go to sleep that easily. Kapag nagigising ako sa gitna ng gabi, I would walk up to Vince and ask for his tea. Yes that guy would prefer tea than coffee. And his coffee taste really great and I could sleep easily. Well that tea came from Japan. He has a monthly supply. Sa yaman ba naman nun. Syempre bilang mabait na kaibigan, tinutulungan ko syang ubusin yun. Bait ko noh? Minsan lang nya rin kasi yun iniinom, tuwing inaatake lang sya ng insomnia. Which is twice or trice a week. Minsan nga tintawagan pa kami nun para lang may makausap sya sa buong gabi. At kami? Oh well no choice. We're being loyal to him.

By the way, the three of us are just in one room. Ang daya nga eh. Porket anak sya ng may-ari pwede na nya ma-solo ang isang kwarto. Buti nga ngayon meron na si Raven. Quits na kami. Alam nyo ba kung ano ang rason nya kung bakit kaming talo magkakasama? Para daw 'pag may kailangan say sa amin iisa lang ang tatawagan nya. Ayos noh? Oh well...

I sat up and looked at my friends. They are sleeping soundly. When I said "soundly", It is literally soundly. They are snoring. Buti nalang nga at nasanay na ako sa kanila. I slowly stood up and went to the door. Accidentally, I stepped on a box which made a sound. I looked back at the two. Wala rin palang kwenta ang pinagagawa ko, tulog mantika pala tong dalawa. I just ignored them and went out.

Buti nalang at hanggang 10:00 lang ang rounds ng disciplinary officer ng school. I immediately went up stairs. Sa taas na palapag lang ang kwarto nila. I was already up. Hindi ako tumutingin sa paligid. Dahil na rin sa dilim, wala akong makita. I was in front of Vince's door. I was about to step forward when...

"Ouch! 'Tol kung guso mo ng suntukan, just tell me. Hindi yung susugod ka lang. You're so unfair!" a grumpy feminine voice said. Wait, feminine? There is just one girl here in the school...

"Raven?" I said. Buti nalang dala ko ang phone ko, so used it for light. And guess whet? Siya nga!

"Ethan?" she said back.

"What are you doing here?" we said in unison.

"Itanong mo yan sa magaling mo kaibigan! Pinatulog ba daw ako sa labas! Argh!" she said. Mukhang uminit naman ang dugo ni Vince.

"Ano naman kasi ang ginawa mo?" I ask, a smile was forming on my lips. Ewan ko ba ang sarap sa feeling 'pag kasam ko sya.

"Hindi ko naman kasi sinasadya na mahulog yung basketball figurine nya eh." she explained. Kaya naman pala.

"Well yung figurine kasi na iyun, galing pa sa US, mahirap kasing maghanap ng ganun." I said then she pouted. She looks so cute. Ginulo ko lang ang buhok nya. I guess I have to talk to Vince.

"Don't worry, I'm gonna talk to him." I said. She just smiled sweetly. I knock on the door. 'Di gaya ng dalawa kong roommates, mas madaling gisingin si Vince. Oh well, minsan. He looks really sleepy. His eyes were half closed

"The tea is in t-- What is that girl doing here?!"

*Raven's POV*

Grabe lang ha. Hindi po kami bingi. Kung makasigaw 'to, parang nasa kabilang bundok ang kausap.

"Vince, you should let her sleep in there. It's not that big deal." Ethan said. Uh-huh, mayroon akong lawyer. Bleh!

"Not a big deal? Alam mo naman din na ang hirap maghanap nun." he reasoned out.

"Oh come on Vince, masyadong malamig dito sa labas." yeah right. Ang lamig kaya dito.

"Good for her." he said coldly. Tiningnan ko lang sya ng masama. He is so mean.

"Vince, kung ayaw mo sy--" naputol ang sasabihin ni Ethan ng may narinig kaming yabag na tunog ng paa. Mukhang paakyat ito. We looked at the stair case's direction. May nakita kaming ilaw na paakyat. Ano kaya yun?

"D.O.!" bulalas ng dalawa. Dahilan ng pagbilis ng tunog ng mga paa.

"Get in!" Vince whisper-shouted. Agad nya akong hinila papasok. What is happening?

"Ethan, lock the door." Vince demanded. Sinunod naman sya ni Ethan. But Ethan looked back to him. "It is no use bro. All of the disciplinary officers has duplicate keys of all rooms." Ethan said. Wait, don't tell me, nagra-rounds ang mga disciplinary officer dito. The two of them looks so frustrated. Bakit, big deal ba ang mahuli ng disciplinary officer? Oh well, Ethan would be acceptable but that devil? Nuh-uh.

We saw a silhouette infront of the door. Both of them cursed under their breathe. Ako naman mukhang tanga dito, nakakunoot lang ang noo. Maya-maya, gumalaw ng konti ang door knob.

"Ethan hide yourself on her bed then cover!" he said at sinunod naman sya ni Ethan. Tapos hinila nya ako papunta sa kama nya.

"Hoy Vince, gusto ka na--"

"Shut up, ok?" he said looking around. Hawak hawak nya parin ang kamay ko. Tsuma-chancing tayo 'tol?

"Ugh!" he groaned. Tapos tinulak nya ako pahiga sa kama nya. I was about to sit up. Pero dinaganan ako ng mokong. I was about to protest when he put his hand on my mouth. Bastos na lalaking 'to.

"Asdfghjkl!" I mumbled. Hindi naman nya ako naririnig.

"Shut your mouth kung ayaw mong mahuli tayo!" he said and covered us with the duvet. Eksakto namang bumukas yung pinto. 

My breathe hitched. Pareho kaming napahinto. Lagot, sana hindi kami mahuli. Ang lapit ng mukha nya. After a few moments later our nose touched. Kung wala lang ang kamay nya, malamang ngayon magka-dikit na ang mga labi namin. There is this new sensation I'm feeling inside. Hindi na ako makahinga ng maayos. Then without any thoughts, our foreheads are touching. Akala wala lang sa kanya. But then, he frowned a bit. Ang bilis ng tibok ng puso ko.

A minute or more we felt the person moved close to us. We mirrored each other with eyes wided. We felt his or her hand hold the duvet. Grabe, malapit na'ng lumabas sa socket ko ang eyeballs ko. I was waiting for any commotion.

"Achooo!" someone sneezed. At alam ko kung sino yun. Oh Ethan, you're my hero!

"Huh?" takang sabi ng isang 'di-pamilyar na boses. It sounds like a girl. Mukhang babae ang DO na 'to.

"Achooo!" Ethan fake sneezed again. Sana umalis na yung babaeng yun. I am really hoping. Magpapakabait na talaga ako ng isang linggo kapag hindi kami nahuli. But then sometimes, deals are not enough.

'Pag kinakabahan ako naghahanap ako ng mahahawakan. I thought it was the bed but turns out to be...

"Ouch! You stupid girl!" my eyes were widened. Both ou us. We looke at the side and...

"AHHHHHHH!!!" the DO shouted. Ethan was already up. Our eyes are wide open and jaw dropped on the ground.

"Mr. Dawson, Mr. Lancaster and Ms. Morgan, in the disciplinary office NOW!"  Oh my! Di ba, guidance office din ang tawag dun!

This isn't happening, right?!

"Argh!"
