Chapter 10: Hello ALL-BOYS SCHOOL!: Midnight Counseling

"This isn't happening." Vince murmured under his breathe. Kanina nya pa yan sinasabi. NAndito kami ngayon sa disciplinary office. Halos mag-iisang oras na kami dito. Wala parin si Mr. Yang. Naalala nyo pa saya? Siya yung Guidance counselor dito. Kung hindi, iuntog nyo nalang sa pader ang ulo nyo. Joke!

Tinuon ko ang pansin ko kay Ethan. Pareho sila ng posisyon. Yung dalawang siko nila nakapatong sa tuhod tapos nakabaon ang mukha nila sa kanilang mga kamay. Kanina pa nga to eh. Hindi pa ba sila nangangalay?

"Uy Ethan..." I said. Medyo mahina lang, marami kasing DO dito, hindi pa yata inaantok. Mukhang hindi ako narinig ni Ethan.

"Ethaaan..." I said while poking side. He immediately looked up and stared at me. He is already frowning. I just smiled sheepishly. May gusto lang kasi akong itanong sa kanya.

"Bakit ganyan ang drama nyo?" he frowned a bit. At dahil matalino si Ethan nakuha nya ito agad. Galing talaga! Umupo sya ng maayos at tumingin sa akin.

"This is our first time here." he said, sadness is in his voice. My eyes widened. Okay, sasabihin kong first time ko dito sa kwarto na 'to, pero hindi ko first time na pumasok sa isang disciplinary office. Alam nyo na ang rason. Pero parang imposible naman na first time ni Vince dito. Opo, puro Vince nalang. Hindi kasi ako makapaniwala eh. I was about to ask something when the door open. Iniluwa nito si Mr. Yang. Oh no!

Both of the boys sat straight. Hindi naman din siguro terror si sir noh? Mr. Yang seated on his chair. Tiningnan nya kami. Papalit-palit. Kay Ethan, tapos sa akin at kay Vince. Tapos bumuntong hininga sya.

"The disciplinary officer told me how she saw you." he said emphasizing the last words. Tapos nagsimula nang mag-explain yung dalawa. Ako? Nandito muntanga. Hindi ko sila maintindihan, siguro pati si sir. He looks confused. Paano ba naman kasi, sabay-sabay silang nagsasalita tapos na iba-iba ang ang mga sinasabi nila. Haay...

"Okay, okay, Mr. Dawson and Mr. Lancaster settle down." grabe lang noh, nakatayo talaga sila. Bilib na ako sa inyo mga 'tol! But then, Mr. Yang looked at me. Sternly. "Ms. Morgan. What was really happening?"

"Kasi... kasi... ano..." eto nanaman ako. Ganito ako kapag kinakabahan. Wala naman kasi kaming kasalanan diba? Talagang green minded lang ang DO na yun. Vince is looking at me deadly. Nakakatakot, pramis!

"Ms. Morgan. I am waiting," I was shoked with the cold voice of Mr. Yang.

"Boring po kasi kaya yun nalang ang ginawa namin." I said fastly which made me put my hands on my mouth. What have I done?! The two groaned and started to argue with Mr. Yang. Ako naman todo explain din.

Kapag kasi nagugulat ako, hindi ko na alam ang sinasabi ko. At yung sinasabi ko, palusot ko yun kay Mr. G kapag napaaway o may pinagtripan ako. Lagot talaga ako nito.

"I had enough." Mr. Yang said firmly. Oh my! "I had heard enough. And you can't deny it anymore." he said sternly.

"But sir--" we said in unison but cut off by Mr. Yang.

"No buts. I'm gonna give you sunctions." I was about to protest when he spoke again. "Raven, I encoutered a lot of cases like this. A student will accidentally say the truth at babawin nya rin." he explained. My shoulders arched down. He spoke again, "and I am going to give you separate punishment."

The three of us frowned. What is he talking about?

"Ethan will have a different sunction, while the two of you will be together in one punishment."

"What?!" we asked in disbelief. When I said "we" it means me and Vince.

"I would rather be alone!" Vince exclaimed.

"Mas lalo na ako. Baka isama mo pa ako sa impyerno!" I, too, exclaimed. He send daggers to me while I just smiled sheepishly.

"Bawal magreklamo, it is final." Mr. Yang said firmly. We just sighed. Wala na talaga kaming magagawa.

"Okay, Mr. Dawson, you have to help in cleaning the lounge of the dorm building tomorrow after your class," Ethan just nodded. Masunurin talaga 'tong lalaking 'to, tsk!

"and for you, Ms. Morgan and Mr. Lancaster you have to clean the gymnasium after your class." labag man sa aming kalooban, wala na kaming magagawa kundi ang tumango. Pareho kami.

"Okay, but remember if I find out that this happens again, I will suspend you." Mr. Yang said with finality. Paano kaya ako hindi makakapagloko nito. Haay...

"Especially you, Ms. Morgan you just transfered here and worst you are a girl, you have to be disciplined. We want to make fine individuals in the future." he said and I just nodded.

Natapos na ang aming counseling. Or should I say "midnight counseling". Opo, 12:43 na ng madaling araw. Umakyat na kami sa aming kwarto.

"Sige Vince, Ray mauna na ako." pagpapaalam ni Ethan. Vince just nodded and walked upstairs. Pati na rin si Ethan.

"Ethan wait! Sasama ako!" sabi ko habang hinahabol sya. There is no way on earth I am gonna go up with that devil!

"Oh bakit?" mahina nyang saad. He looks exhausted. Kawawa naman ang Goody-Ethan ko.

"Hatid na kita," I said. I tried to smile kahit na badtrip ako.

"Wag na. Gabi na oh. Bukas na magsisimula ang klase mo," he said while smiling sweetly. Bakit ganun kahit na may ginawa na ako, ang bait parin nya sa akin. Masyado kang mabait Ethan, nakaka-inlove. Echos ko! Joke lang yun ah. He is just a friend. A great friend.

"Sige naaaa..." I pleaded, I pulled a puppy eyes and pouted. He smiled. Yes! Alam ko na yan!

"Okay, basta bilisan natin ha? You looked tired." he said and ruffled my hair. Alam ko naman na pagod ka na rin.

We went upstairs pero bago kami pumasok, kinausap ko muna sya.

"Uy Ethan sorry doon sa sinabi ko ha? Nabigla lang kasi ako. 'Tsaka hindi ko naman din alam na maniniwala doon si Mr. Yang." pangangatuwiran ko. Tama naman eh.

"Don't worry, I know you didn't meant that. Lounge lang naman din yun eh." he encouraged. I just smiled at him and said my sorry again. Bubuksan na sana nya ang pinto nang may bumukas nito. At alam nyo kung sino? ABS! Este si Kurt. He is freaking shirtless! I gawked for a moment and covered my eyes. Ang late ng reaction ko noh?

"Kurt put a shirt!" Ethan scolded him. Nakatakip parin ako ng mga mata.

"What?" he asked, fully awake. "Ow, sorry," he apologized. Sumilip ako sa gitna ng aking mga daliri, at buti naman naksuot na sya ng damit.

"Wait sweetie why are you with him? What did you do?" Kurt asked. Tatay lang ang peg 'tol?

"Cut the act Kurt. Raven still needs to sleep." then he turned to me, "Sige na Ray, you better go to bed now. Good night!" he said and pushed Kurt inside still protesting. I just smiled and said my "good night". Umakyat na ako sa kwarto namin. Buti nalang hindi na nya ni-lock.

When I was inside, kakalabas lang ni Vice galing sa wardrobe nya. Whe he saw me, he just rolled his eyes. Bakla yata to eh. Nakaka-badtrip lalo. I just sat on my bed and prepared to lay down when I heard him whispering to himself.

"Tss. Stupid girl." then he pulled the duvet on top of him.

"Tss. Poker face." sabi ko nalang. Wala na akong ibang masabi eh. I lay down, my back from him.

Nakaka-badtrip ang araw na ito. Nung una nakipag-sigawan ako sa anak ng may-ari ng school na ito at napunta sa guidance office. Tapos ang pinaka-iinisan ko na tao ang naging roommate. At pinatulog ako sa labas. Tapos eto namang mga DO at si Mr. Yang na hindi nakinig sa explanation namin at binigyan kami ng sunction. Great. Just great! First day ko palang dito, I mean hindi pa nga nagsi-sink in sa akin na nag-aaral ako sa isang ALL-BOYS SCHOOL.

What worst would happen tomorrow?
