Diadem couldn't believe what she just heard. Winona was her real mother? She simply couldn't fathom the possibility, but Vince was looking at her with a glint of sorrow and pain in his eyes. He looked as if he was telling the truth. But how did that happen?

Her heart pounded hard when she realized that it might be true. Her mother loved his father more than her. Her heart surgery when she was young was kept from her. Pinatunayan na ng mga doktor na naoperahan nga siya sa puso noon. Hindi iyon ipinaalam sa kanya ng mga magulang. Ni walang ganoong info sa kanyang medical records.

Bakit itinago iyon sa kanya? Ano ang dahilan? Pareho nang patay ang kanyang Mommy at Daddy. Hindi na niya matatanong pa ang mga ito kung bakit may mga bagay ang mga itong itinago sa kanya. And now Vince was telling her that her real mother was no other than the person whom she hated so much. Ang taong itinuring niyang isang mortal na kaaway. Ang taong pinagmalupitan niya. Oh my God! How messed up things could be?

"You are just toying with my feelings, Vince..." mahina niyang sambit habang napaatras. Her knees softened and she leaned on the door. "Gawa-gawa mo lang ito. Is this still a part of your revenge?" How she wished so! Malalim itong napabuntong-hininga. His face softened for the first time. Nakita niya ang awa sa mga mata nito. Awa para sa kanya.

"I'm really so sorry, Diadem, but believe me, it's not easy for me to break the truth to you. But no one's alive anymore to take this burden away from me. Patay na si Nanay Winona. Patay na rin ang mga magulang mo. Ako na lamang ang nalalabing may alam ng totoo. Though I have limited knowledge, too. Pero alam ko kung ano ang totoo."

"How come?" That was the only thing that she could say. Papaano nangyari na naging anak siya ni Winona? Oh my God! Ngayon pa lamang ay parang sasabog na yata ang dibdib niya sa halo-halong emosyon. The thought that she hurt her own mother and that Winona suffered from her hands was one hell of a torture.
