8 years later...

"I need everything ready in the next 15 minutes, everyone." I said and the servants all nodded their heads. They started working faster on the decorations and foods respectively.

"You aren't ready yet." I heard Jen shout from the door. Violet and Jen were standing there with frowns etched on their faces. Both my best friends were standing there absolutely dressed for the New Year's Party we're having at our home. It has been kind of like a tradition to have it at our place every year.

Jen was wearing a red mini dress and V had a black evening gown on. They were standing there with perfect hair and perfect makeup on. On time for the celebration. Their respective husbands soon followed them in with their kids. Josh and Kev gave me a wave and I returned one with a smile.

"I was just making sure everything's done perfectly." I said and shrugged my shoulders.

"We'll make sure everything's done perfectly. You need to go and change," V said and I nodded my head. "Okay."

I went to our room and took a dress out of my closet. It was sheer black dress with detailed designs on it. I did my makeup in a bit of hurry and styled my hair. I put on a choker and small earrings. I wore a pair of black pumps and a small clutch.

I walked out of our room and went to the room next to mine

I walked out of our room and went to the room next to mine. It's my baby boy, Ace's room. I and Alex had a baby 5 years back. I wanted to take a break from my acting career and decided to concentrate on my family more. I talked to Alex and he instantly agreed.

Ace has chocolate brown eyes just like his father and natural dark brown hairs of mine. He has my nose and his father's sharp face. He is so much like Alex, he's gonna break some hearts when he grows up. He's a big daddy's boy. He loves hanging out with his father and spends so much time with him playing in the garden or having competitions on the gaming console.

"Hello, mum." My boy sweetly said and kissed my cheek. I helped him change and sent him downstairs to join Joseph, Violet's elder son and April, Jen's daughter. Joseph is 5 and April's 4 and they all get along great. Violet also had another son named Jayden, who's 3. Jen and Kev are planning on having another child soon.

I then went to my little daughter, Samantha's room. She's one and a big mama's girl. My eyes and my hair. Manners all are from her dad's side. She's so cute and has started talking recently and I tell you, she blabbers the most cutest things.

"Hwi Mommie." She said and I picked her up from her crib. She giggled heartily and I kissed her cheeks, adoring my baby. She was pretty much dressed in her cute red onesie. I picked her up from her crib, admiring her.

I walked downstairs and saw Alex playing with Ace

I walked downstairs and saw Alex playing with Ace. He had Ace in his arms and they are busy in a 'conversation'. Alex made faces at him to make him laugh. I walked upto them and Ace took his sister with him and went off the play with the kids.

"We make super cute babies," Alex said pulling me to his chest by my waist and kissed my forehead. I nodded my head in agreement, looking at them playing happily by the fireplace.

"We should make more," I shook my head and denied. "What did I say? Two kids. Just two." I said and showed him two fingers on my hands. He rolled his eyes, muttering, "Okay, Fine."

We walked towards the others and sat by the fireplace. Shortly, Regina and Daniel too approached us. One of the best memories of family are moments like this.
As a little girl, I'd always want a family. I always pictured us sitting by thr fireplace with our friends and family. Seeing all of us, celebrating festivals together, gives my dream a life.

We were all sitting and chatting when we heard a voice.

"Mrs. Grey?" I, Jen and Regina, turned around considering all three of us are 'Mrs. Grey'.

"I'm Daniel. Your daughter's boyfriend." The man standing there with blue eyes and black hair said with his hand in Regina's daughter, Athena's. Athena has been in Australia studying so we don't see her often. She's the sweetest girl too. With soft doe eyes and beautiful brown hair.

"We need to talk," Regina said and took Athena to a corner. After a long conversation, Regina accepted the relation. Athena looked so happy with him and it's just a very good thing he's getting along with everyone.

After we had our dinner, we put the kids to bed. The kids sometimes stay here and so we have rooms for them all. We all gathered around the fireplace and were waiting for the clock to struck 12.

"Sisters-in-law, it's time." Jen said addressing me and Violet. Her and me pulled out our gifts and gave them to their respective owners. It's a tradition too. We give Christmas gifts on New Year's eve.

After all of that was done, Josh announced, "5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1.."

"Happy New Year!" We all exclaimed and I cupped Alex's face. He crashed his lips onto mine and I kissed him back. Almost a decade with him and I am still as crazy for him as I was in the beginning of our relation. His smile still gives me butterflies. His kisses still manage to make my heart skip a beat. His touch still sends shiver down my spine. His words still coat my cheeks in a blush.

Nothing has changed. Nothing will ever change.

"Happy New Year." We both whispered to each other, together.

"I love you, my handsome CEO." I said.

"I love you too, my small town girl." He said and kissed me again.
