I have this cute fluffy idea in mind that Naruto moves Hinata's bangs before kissing her on the forehead. Use this as you may like! Maybe a drabble?

"Where's Hinata?" Naruto asked as he strode into the cave. He dropped the kindling by his teammate's side.

Ino looked up from the fire she'd just built and answered him with, "Oh, she's still out. She said she had something to do by herself and she'll be back later."

Lee paused from his one-handed push-ups and added, "We saw her last at the big maple tree we passed by earlier."

Naruto frowned. "It's starting to rain."

Ino gasped as she looked out into the cave's entrance and saw the droplets falling outside. "Oh, no! I didn't realize! Sorry!"

Lee righted himself and became worried, too. "Let's go look for her."

But Naruto was already striding towards the opening of the cave. "I got it, guys. I'll bring her back."

Hinata frowned in concentration as she twirled again. Something just felt off so she went through the steps again in her mind.

The rain fell in slow drops, dampened her hair and her uniform, but she paid no attention.

Hanabi's birthday was coming up in a few days and she still hadn't perfected this dance she wanted to gift her sister. She'd been so busy recently that she only could practice during the downtimes of her missions.

Her dark hair flew behind her as she turned slowly and moved an arm up over her head. Her right leg came off a few feet from the ground for a few seconds. Then Hinata swayed to the slow rhythm she remembered in her mind, shoulders bobbing in gentle tandem to the movement of her hips. Her eyes closed and she could clearly hear the music speeding up, her head rolling side to side as she took a few steps forward then slowly backward.

Her arms came up again, hands twirling in circles, matching the strain of shamisen strings and then her hips swayed sensuously left only to dip down and do the same to the right side.

Nothing intruded into her thoughts as she kept her eyes closed and focused inward, danced to the internal music playing in her mind.

Until she felt him come up behind her before the warmth of his jacket draped over her body.

She finally opened her eyes and smiled at him.

He smiled back, brushed the wet bangs at her forehead. After moving her hair, he then pressed a loving kiss on her damp skin. "Hey, there, my dancer in the rain," he said.

She laughed softly. "I didn't mean to worry you guys. I just wanted to get one more practice in so I can do this perfectly for Hanabi."

Naruto tucked the jacket more firmly around her. "Trust me, Hinata. You're already perfect."
