I feel like I'm going backwards
with every step I aimed to take
—for every deed done
an infinite amount
takes its place—
life is an endless
pile of workLately, I feel like I'm going
in circles with my thoughts
and my loneliness
—for every word uttered
a thousand more takes
its place—all unheard
and silent—
life is an endless
pile of workI feel like I'm stuck
where I am even
after all my attempts
to get out of my grave
—for every beam of light
a multitude of darkness
take its place—I know now—
surrender is around the corner
and I refuse to take it
after all—life is an endless
pile of work
until the end.
