How many more lines
would I start with a question
and how many more would
I start with "I"?
It's been a while since
I last came to an empty
space with no words
to guide me
Do I love it? Hate it?
I wish I knew the answer
to that like how I wish
for the million questions
I ask the world
And so I wonder
how many more times
would I start a fight
with my own kin and
how many would I
finish with myself?
It's been a while since
I last came to a quiet night
with no emotions pouring
off me—I hate it
