Y/N Pov:

Today is my first day at UA and I am very excited. I've been waiting for this day ever since I was five and my parents were killed by villains. I am finally on my way to becoming a hero.

I put on my new uniform and I realized that the skirt was a little too short for my liking. I put a pair of shorts on underneath just in case. I left my hair down and walked downstairs to see if Grandma was ready to go.

Grandma was at the small kitchen counter with a plate of eggs and bacon held out towards me. I am so lucky that Grandma makes me breakfast. She is a great cook.

"Are you ready for your first day at UA, Y/N?"

"I am so ready! I can't wait to see Uncle Aizawa again!"

"Remember that he doesn't want anyone to know that you know him outside of school. Don't let it slip out."

"I won't Grandma. I'm going to respect his wishes. I just haven't seen him in so long!"

"I'm sure he will be happy to see you again. Just so you know, I don't care if people find out that you are my granddaughter."

"Thank you, Grandma!"

We got into Recovery Girl's car to go to UA, and she drove like a little old lady. She doesn't want to risk having a car crash injure someone.

When we were in front of UA, Grandma pulled me into a hug. She looked at me and smiled.

"You are going to be a wonderful hero Y/N. Could you do me one favor though?"

I nodded my head and looked at her intently, wondering what she wanted me to do.

"Keep an eye on the Midoryia kid. He has green hair, green eyes, freckles, and is the one who broke his arm."

"I will Grandma."

I couldn't help but laugh at the way she spoke of this Midoryia.

"Hopefully no one has to come to see you today. Good luck!"

"You will be amazing Y/N. I love you."

"I love you too Grandma."

We both pulled away from the hug and went our separate ways. I was able to find Class 1-A very easily because I have been here so many times to see Uncle Aizawa.

When I entered the classroom, is saw a navy-haired boy yelling at Katsuki to get his feet off of the desk. Those two were the only two in here so far, so I went over to them and introduced myself.

"Hi! I'm Y/N. It's nice to meet you!"

The navy-haired boy stopped his yelling and stood up stiffly.

"I am Iida Tenya. It is nice to meet you also."

He was moving his arms in robotic movements as he introduced himself. Katsuki just looked at me and rolled his eyes.

"You're the idiot from the restaurant. Did you finally learn how to not walk into people?" He asked me as he sneered at me.

"I'm sorry about that! I've been trying to pay more attention to where I'm going lately."

I rubbed the back of my neck while he scoffed.

As Iida went back to yelling at Katsuki, I saw Mina walk into the room.

"Y/N! You made it in!"

"You did too! I'm so glad that you're here!"

Behind her, a boy with spikey red hair walked in with a huge grin on his face. He came over to me and said,

"Hi! I'm Kirishima Eijiro! You wanna be friends?"

"I would love to be your friend Kirishima! You seem so nice!"

Kirishima's grin only grew after I said that. Kiri, Mina, and I started talking about what schools we used to go to when I noticed that Shinso wasn't here. Maybe he got into Class 1-B.

A kid who looked exactly like Grandma had described walked in, but he was talking to a girl so I decided to wait to introduce myself.

Uncle Aizawa rolled towards us in his sleeping bag and told us to put on our gym uniforms for a test. I couldn't help but smile at him, and when no one was looking, he smiled back. Just a small smile though.

When we got to the training field, Aizawa explained that we would be taking eight tests and the person with the lowest score would be expelled. I knew that Aizawa would do it if he needed to.

I knew that my quirk wouldn't help, but my physical abilities are pretty good. I just need to focus and give it everything I have.

After the first five tests, Katsuki stomped over to me.

"Did they let a quirkless loser like you into UA?"

"I'm not quirkless. My quirk just doesn't help me with this."

Katsuki looked satisfied and stomped back to his original spot.

When we got to the second to last test, Midoryia broke his finger. I guess Grandma was right. I did my throw and then walked over to him.

"Could I heal that for you?" I asked him with a smile.

"If you don't mind."

"I don't."

I transferred his broken finger to myself and he freaked out when he saw that I was hurt now.

"Now you have it! I'm so sorry!"

"It's fine Midoryia. Look it is already healing."

Midoryia looked and saw that my finger was already almost completely healed. He started to mumble about how my quirk works. He pulled a notebook out of who knows where and started writing down notes. I started to laugh and back away when Aizawa called us over to the last test.

I wasn't doing great, but as long as I got a decent score on this test I should be okay. I was doing my sidesteps when I saw a kid with what looked like grapes on his head picking up speed. He was bouncing off of two purple things when he accidentally missed one and went flying through the air.

"Don't bother coming back, Mineta," Aizawa called out while shaking his head. He had only known the kid for an hour and was already done with him.

"The tests are over. You have all passed except for Mineta. Midoryia get your quirk under control. That could have been you."

Aizawa put our scores on the board. Mineta was in last, then Midoryia, and then me. Midoryia and I both sighed in relief that we were able to keep attending UA.

Aizawa shot a glance that seemed to say: I know that your quirk doesn't help you, but you need to improve. I nodded my head at Uncle Aizawa. I will become a wonderful hero. I will overcome all of my challenges Plus Ultra style.
