"Latil." Mabilis na sagot ng matanda.
"Curious lang ako, why?" Seryosong saad ng apo.
"Why?" Patanong na ulit ng matanda habang nakapikit ang mata nito at nakahiga sa kama ng silid na kanilang pinapahingahan.
"Why are you so ugly?" Natatawang saad ni Latil habang nakatingin kay Carrion.
"Eh kung sikmuraan kita. Sa dami ng aampunin na bata noon bakit ikaw pa ba ang nakuha ko?" Pabalik na tanong ng matanda.
Napahalakhak lang si Latil sa sinabi ni Carrion.
"Seriously speaking, curious lang po talaga ako. Akala ko ho ba kilalang nobility ang dati ninyong pinagtatrabahuhan sa Satie Empire?" Usisa nito sa kanyang Lolo na nakahiga parin sa kama.
"Yes, they are." Kunot noong sagot ng matanda habang nakapikit parin ito.
"Pero bakit parang hindi kilala ng Emperor ng Castillan Kingdom si Ms. Yve? Eh diba makapangyarihan ang Karsens sabi nyo? Tapos nag-iisang anak pa nila si Ms. Yve, it's impossible for the other ruler to not recognize her." Napamulat ang matanda sa tanong ng apo.
"Kartara is the name of Duke Ran and Duchess Meria's only daughter. My lady rarely gets out of her room. Bihira lang din itong makipag-socialize. Halos bilang lang ang taong nakakakita ng mukha nito dahil ilag yon sa mga tao sa paligid niya. "That's because Kartara and Yveria are different. It's kind of complicated but they grew up as different individuals with different personalities but has one soul." Carrion said.
"Is that even possible? Na mahati sa dalawa ang soul?" Naguguluhang tanong parin ng apo.
"If the Gods and Goddesses want it. Then, everything is possible." Deretsong sagot ng matanda.
"Kahit mali? Basta God's and goddesses' will, permissible Lolo?" Tanong ulit nito.
"It's impossible for them to make wrong decisions. Since they still need to report their move to Supreme Heavenly Creator before doing it, mostly if it's an important matter concerning demons and humans." Saad ni Carrion.
"Supreme Heavenly Creator? Is that another God? What's wrong with Gods and Goddesses thing? It's kinda complicated." Napakamot na lang sa ulo si Latil dahil naguguluhan nanaman ito.
"Supreme Heavenly Creator is the highest of them all in the heavenly realm. Castillan Kingdom's people worship that God." Carrion said.
"Then whose God do you worship Tanda?" Nagulat ang matanda sa biglaang tanong nito.
"I worship all of them. " Carrion said in a low voice.
Tumagilid lang ang matanda sa pagkakahiga, his back is facing Latil. Then he murmured.
"You don't have to get involved. I'm doing this for all of us."
