Chapter 21

Ayazumi's POV

"Sorry, I don't know such person." Masungit na saad ng receptionist ng bar na ito.

I already offered her 1 gold coin for tips pero mukhang mas lalo lang itong naging sakim at inakalang marami pa kaming pera kaya't nakulangan pa ito. Does she think we're stupid?

Ganito ba talaga ang mga tao sa mundong to? Although there are people like this in my previous world...but damn hanggang dito ba naman!

Ibinaba ko na ang isang gold coin sa harapan nya. The informations doesn't seem to worth this much but this greedy woman. Ituturo lang naman kung nasaan ang taong yon.

"The palace--- Wala kang makukuhang impormasyon. Umalis ka na!" Putol nito sa sasabihin ko. This stupid woman... it's infuriating. Argh!

One of the palace royal knights told us that there's someone called Cadmus here. He said that that guy is dangerous but we can count on him when it comes to noble's information, even in different countries. He's like a merchant but he doesn't trade goods, he trades confidential informations with money. That guy named Cadmus is an informant and the knight also said that he's a leader of the famous Information Guild here in the Castillan Kingdom.

"My lady, give me the order and I'll end her life. Right here. Right now." Nagtitimpi kong paalam sa taong nasa likod ko habang nakaharap parin sa receptionist ng bar. Tiningnan lang ako ng masama ng receptionist.  I was ready to unsheathe my katana from my back nang biglang umunahan sakin si Ms. Yve.

"Take the money or die?" She coldly said at may binaba pa itong tatlong gold coins sa counter, habang nakatutok sa leeg ng receptionist ang espada nito.

Wait.. a sword?No, it's my katana? What? Hindi ko naramdaman na kinuha nya ito sa likod ko.

Sometimes, even if I've known her for years, her sudden movements still scares me.

She's sweating bullets at nanginginig na tumango na lang. Dumugo na ang parte ng leeg nito na tinutukan ng katana. Tsk. Deserve.

My Lady gave back my katana. Agad namang sinabi sa amin ng receptionist ang daan papunta sa kinaroroonan ng sinasabing Cadmus na yon. That must be his codename since there's no way a renowned informant who has the noble's precious secrets would use his real identity, that would put him to great danger.

This woman should have lead the way, pero mukhang naubusan na ito ng dugo sa mukha sa sobrang putla nito. Konting takot pa at tutumba----t-that's?

The receptionist immediately collapsed nang malanghap ang inispray ni Ms. Yve. Sinilip ko agad ang babae sa kabila ng counter.

"Damn woman! you look good in that position hahaha sleep well bitch!" I laughed hard when I saw her lying hopelessly on the cold floor.

That's a paralytic spray, her whole body would temporarily be paralyzed and she wouldn't wake up in three days. Master created that herself. Hindi ko alam na dinala nya rin pala yan. Maswerte pa ang receptionist na ito at low level paralytic spray lang yan cause if it's the mid-level one,  that frail looking trash body of hers will rest in peace. Napailing na lang ako at naka-thumbs up both hands na humarap kay Ms. Yve.

"I'm getting tired of that kind of attitude in this world." Pokerface na sabi lang nito.

"My lady, do you want me to accompany you?" Tanong ko dito.

"No, stay with those two outside." She must be pertaining to Latil and Mr. Carrion.

"Yes, My Lady." Then I bow. Gusto ko sanang sumama pero mukhang mas kailangan ako ng dalawang yon sa labas.

"Don't let anything happen to them. It will ruin my plan." She strictly said.

"As you wish, My Lady. Take care." Tumango lang ito at tumungo na sa direksyon ng kinaroroonan ng taong hinahanap namin. Ako ang dapat mas mag-ingat saming dalawa but well I just wanted to tell her.

Mr. Carrion and Latil are staying outside this bar, pinahihintay na lang sila ni Ms. Yve don. Right, may bar din sa mundong ito pero mukhang puro lalaki lang ang madalas dito. Marahil ay sila ang sinasabing adventurers sa mundong ito habang ang iba naman ay mukhang ordinaryong mamamayan lang na nagkakasiyahan. Wala ring tugtugan sadyang boses lang nila ang maiingay. Kaya wala rin nakapansin nung nahimatay yung babaeng receptionist kanina dahil sa lakas ng tawanan at ingay ng mga tao dito.

I guess alcoholic people can be seen anywhere, even in another world.

Ang bilis ng mga pangyayari...parang kanina lang akala ko magkakaroon na ako ng chance na gamitin ang katana na binigay ni Ms. Yve. Ahhh I'm kinda disappointed.

I still can't get over it. What just happened in that palace an hour ago? I thought we were going to fight but Ms. Yveria settled it faster than I expected.

It all started when we heard a gunshot coming from the room that I am guarding with those Castillan Kingdom's knights. Hence, it's the room where Ms. Yve and the palace historian are staying to discuss things. Those freaking knights panicked when we heard a gunshot. With just one shot  they reported it immediately to their Emperor!

I remembered them shouting frustratingly nung hindi ko sila hinahayaang makapasok.

"We need to barge in, the Duke's life must be in danger!" Asik ng mga ito sa akin.

They were so persistent but of course I didn't let them get in. What was my purpose there if they did?

Besides, I know Ms. Yve wouldn't kill that man inside. She's blood thirsty but she won't kill out of nothing... I think. Another thing is she needed that historian, so there's only a 50% chance that she'll kill him.

Right, whatever the percentage is, as long as it's not zero, he will continue breathing.

After a couple of minutes tinawag na ako ni Ms.Yve. The Emperor and his knights with the palace magicians were with me when I opened the door. They were overreacting with just one gunshot for freaking sake! This world is sick.

The palace historian was lying on the sofa and was unconscious nang madatnan namin ito nakabandage narin ang kanang braso. Nasa posisyon na ang mga magician at knights noon, ready to kill my master. But, things happened as fast as I could imagine. My Lady gave her phone to the Emperor. Nag-aalangan na tiningnan pa ng Emperor ang bagay na binibigay sa kanya dahil siguro first time niya makakita ng bagay na yon. The knights was in a battle mode hahaha stupid people, akala yata nila it's some kind of weapon. That was one of a kind reaction. Ha! hilarious.

Then, may pinapanood yata si Ms. Yve at namalayan ko na lang palabas na kami ng palasyo. Hayst I would love to exchange some 'light blows' but My Lady seems to be in a hurry.

"Oh, It's Latil and Carrion." Sambit ko ng matanaw ko na ang dalawa sa di kalayuan ng makalabas ako ng bar.

Who are those people they are talking to?
