Chapter 55

Yveria's POV

"My lady, what's with that coin?" Usisa ni Ayazumi.

"Nothing." Maikling tugon ko rito at saka pinabalik-balik na muli sa pagitan ng aking mga daliri ang gold coin na galing sa mundong ito. Habang pinaglalaruan ko ito ay ibinaling ko na ang tingin ko sa labas ng karwahe na sinasakyan namin.

We're heading to a location near my castle where knights and soldiers are gathering. "Shall I kill them?" I nonchalantly asked as I coldly watched the scenery outside the carriage.

Nakita ko naman sa peripheral vision ko ang pagkibit balikat lamang ni Ayazumi.

"Young Duchess Kartara, nakarating na tayo sa ating destinasyon," Announced by the coachman.

Ayazumi opened the carriage's door and I was not surprised to see the old man Carrion waiting for me. Mukha niya agad ang bumungad sa amin.

As Carrion assisted me in leaving the carriage, I immediately flashed a small smile.

What a numskull.

A swarm of idiots greets me with puzzled looks when I get off the carriage.

"This way, duchess Kartara." Carrion said as he escorted me to get through the crowd.

The knights and soldiers gave way since they must have noticed old man Carrion carefully assisting me. Ang ilan sa kanila marahil ay si matandang Carrion lamang ang kilala at hindi si Kartara dahil sa paraan ng pagtingin ng mga ito ay hindi ko man lang makitaan ng paggalang o respeto.

Let's see how long those eyes can stare directly at me. I cannot cause chaos right now since Carrion is still here. It might destroy the future plans and fun I'll have if he happens to witness it.

"My lady, pinaakyat ako rito ni tandang Carrion." Mahinang wika nito. Tumango lamang ako bilang sagot.

"A pleasant day to all of you, my fellow knights and soldiers. I am the daughter of the late Duke and Duchess Karsen. Alam kong nakakabigla ito sa inyo lalo na at akala ng lahat ay wala na ako." Mabagal kong panimula, waiting for Carrion to completely leave my sight.

Third Person's POV

All of them are bewildered at how things unexpectedly turn out.

Yveria, whom they thought was Kartara, who was smiling gracefully when she arrived at the site, is now staring coldly at everyone in front of her. 

Hindi alam ng mga knights at soldiers kung ano na nga ba ang nangyayari at paanong ang mahinhin at mukhang mahinang Dukesa kanina ay naging ganito kalamig.
