CCF DIRECTOR STEPS DOWN
Records reveal conflict of interest

THE DIRECTOR of the Center for Christian Formation has resigned, a source revealed to the HERALD.

Cristina Fuertes, who has been serving as CCF director for six years, tendered her resignation last week, following the publication of a report on potential conflict of interest.

Based on the records reviewed by the HERALD, Fuertes has been renting a resort owned by her family for the recollection and retreat sessions of Christian Formation Education students since she was promoted as director in 2016.

The Employee Handbook prohibits any employee or their immediate family members from receiving financial benefit from actions or decisions made in the employee's official capacity.

USC PREXY'S APPROVAL RATING DROPS TO 28%

THE APPROVAL rating of University Student Council President Priam Torres has dropped to 28% from last month's 35%.

In a survey conducted by the HERALD, students commented that the USC president is "cold," "harsh," "unapproachable," and "intimidating."
