Chapter 2: Alola Surprise

It's the next day. After having breakfast, Cloud goes ahead of Ash to the Pokemon School as Kukui told him the location. On the way there, Eevee noticed someone at the beach.

Eevee: Eievui!

Cloud: What is it, Eevee?

Cloud looks at the direction Eevee was pointing at and saw Lana with her Popplio blowing large bubbles.

Cloud: Oh, its that Lana girl.

Lana looked surprised seeing Cloud and his Eevee walking up to her.

Lana: Oh, Cloud. Alola.

Cloud: What are you two up to?

Lana: We're practicing making big balloons. This is our spot.

Cloud: Your spot?

Lana: Yeah. This is where I met Popplio. Popplio was being bullied. They were completely exhausted. It had been deeply hurt, and I didn't want it to grow to hate humans, so I chose it as my partner.

Cloud looks down at Eevee and Popplio playing together while Lana was speaking.

Cloud: I see. Kinda reminds me of...

Lana: Reminds you of what?

Cloud: It's a long story.

Eevee: Vui, vui.

Lana: Oh. I see...

Cloud: Back to you, why are you trying to make big balloons?

Lana: To ride inside of it.

Cloud was confused to hear that.

Cloud: I'm sorry?

Lana: I have a dream. I want to enter a gigantic balloon, and go into the sea... Go anywhere and everywhere... If I do that, I'm sure I can meet some deep sea Pokemon no one has ever seen before.

Cloud: Sounds like a nice dream to have.

Lana: What about you? Do you have any dreams?

Cloud: I would call it more than just a dream, it's a goal that I'm gonna make come true no matter what.

Then Lana realized how late it was.

Lana: Oh no, I didn't realize the time! We're gonna be late for school!

Cloud: You mean you. I don't go there, I'm just visiting.

Lana pouted at Cloud, before she grabbed his hand while dragging him.

Lana: Don't be such a spoil sport. Come on, you'll miss it.

Cloud: Miss wut?

Lana dragged Cloud to the Pokemon School, where he's suddenly met by multiple party poppers and confetti, which confused him.

Everyone: Alola Surprise!

Cloud: ...O-O... The sparks!?

Eevee: Vui?

Mallow: Since you're visiting today, we decided to throw you a surprise party.

Cloud: A surprised party just for that? Isn't that a little too much?

Mallow: Not at all. We'd also like to thank you for last time.

Cloud: ...-_-... But isn't that expensive?

Lana: It's nothing big, but we promise it'll be super fun.

Ash: It's true. Come on!

Pikachu: Pika!

Mallow: That was just your first surprise, though.

Cloud: "First"?

Suddenly, Sophocles walks up with his Togedemaru and points at Cloud.
