As the finale of the Pokémon Alola League continued, Ash held the advantage over Cloud with defeating two of his Pokémon. Now both Decidueye and Naganadel were getting ready to clash with one another.
Ash: Here we go, Leaf Blade!
Cloud: Poison Jab!
Both Decidueye and Naganadel clash with their attacks, blowing each other back.

Naganadel then proceeded to fly up higher into the air.
Cloud: Dragon Pulse!
Naganadel fires a double Dragon Pulseat Decidueye!
Ash: Dodge and use Sky Attack!
Decidueye: Eye!
Decidueye proceeded to fly up, rolling out of the way of Dragon Pulse, before rushing forward using Sky Attack.
Cloud: Dodge it!
As Decidueye continued use Sky Attack, Naganadel moves out of the way, constantly dodge it.
Mallow: It moves so fast!
Lana: Decidueye can't land a hit!
Cloud: Use Poison Jab!
Naganadel lands several Poison Jabs on Decidueye, poisoning it!
Decidueye: Cidueye!!
Ash: Oh, no!
Caster: Decidueye has been poisoned!
Cloud: Now! Flamethrower!
Sensing Decidueye from behind, Naganadel hits him with a direct Flamethrower, engulfing him in flames and making him fall to the ground.
Ash: Decidueye!
Caster Flamethrower hits its mark! Decidueye is now falling towards the ground.
Cloud: Naganadel! Finish it with Dragon Rush!
Naganadel charges up Dragon Rush and proceeded to dive towards Decidueye.
