After your boring classes at school, you finally made your way to the music rooms, the piano room in particular. You had signed one of the rooms out and planned to practice just for fun because since your school was pretty small they weren't used that often, usually you could always get one privately. You dropped off your stuff by the chairs at the entrance of the small room, with a quite nice and old piano. Sighing contently to be alone you headed to the piano.

You sat on the bench and cracked your finger joints, an old habit of yours. You push the piano key cover in and thought of a song to play... one of your favorite songs popped into your head and you began to play. Skinny love. Since you were alone, you decided to sing along.

Come on skinny love, just last the year
Pour a little salt we were never here

My,my,my,-my,my,my,my,my,my,my

Staring at the sink of blood and crushed vineer

Tell my love to wreck it all
Cut out all the ropes and let me fall

My,my,my- my,my,my,my,my,my,my

Right at the moment, this orders tall

And i told you to be patient,
And i told you to be fine,
And i told you to be balenced,
And i told you to be kind,
And in the morning i'll be with you but it will be a different "kind",
'Cause i'll be holding all the tickets
And you'll be owning all the fines

So come on skinny love what happened here?
Suckle on the hope in lite braziere,

My, my, my,-my,my,my,my,my,my,

Sullen load so full, so slow on the split

And i told you to be patient,
And i told you to be fine,
And i told you to be balenced,
And i told you to be kind.
And now all your love is wasted
Man, who the hell was i?
'Cause now i'm breaking at the bridges
And at the end of all your lies.

Who will love you?
Who will fight?
And who will fall, far behind?

Come on skinny love
My,my,my-my,my,my,my,my,my,my

Since you were alone you sang your heart out, all the while you hadn't heard the door click open. Soon the song came to an end, you didn't want it to since you loved that song. Sighing silently you gently caressed the keys after your fingers stopped, wondering what to play next.

"That was beautiful." You hear from behind you. Instantly you froze and turn around slowly once you processed someone was there to find a blond haired, smiling boy that was a grade higher then you. You'd seen him in the halls before, and acually thought he was kind of cute. You met his deep blue eyes and instantly went flush red. When you did he chuckled softly to himself.

You turn away with tears beginning to blur your vision. No one had ever heard you sing, not even your family! And all of a sudden this cute boy hears you sing your guts out to a sentimental song?!

While freaking out internally you hadn't heard him walk over to you, you flinched slightly when his hand unexpectedly sat on your shoulder.

"Hey, don't worry. That was amazing, you've got a beautiful voice." He says, then turns your chin so you see his mesmerizing blue ocean eyes. He gave you a small smile, and you couldn't help but blush and give a smile back. "Thank you." You said softly, finally finding your voice.

He released your chin and you're left with the cool sensation of his fingers leaving you. It bummed you a little but you tried not to show it. "Why are you here anyway? I rented this room." You said shakily.

"Ah, well I actually rented this room, you have the one next door. But when I heard you playing and singing, I couldn't help but listen." He explained. "I'm John by the way. John Watson."

You blushed once again from his damn comments and introduced yourself. "I-I'm Y/N Y/L/N. Thank you for you know- the compliments and stuff and I'm sorry that I took your room. I'll just be going now..." You trail off by getting up to grab your stuff. Before you grabbed your backpack your wrist was snatched and you were spun around so you now face the eager John that had grabbed you.

"Uh, it's okay you don't have to. We could uh, practice together. I mean- only if you want to." He scrunched his face as if he messed up, but you thought he was a really nice guy, so why not? He almost seemed flustered by his own quick move. "Sure. That would be nice." You say happily, once again your face getting hot.

He smiled and you two walked to the piano, then chatted a bit before you agreed to preform 'Someone Like You' by Adele. He played while you sang, both of you in perfect harmony. With hearts slowly melting together with the melody you found yourself meeting John in the piano room every day, a love singing loud like a never ending song.
