"He asked you to what?" Giselle whispered-yelled, as the two women was walking on the beach.

"Marry him." The girl slipped out her mouth.

"And what did you say?" She said taking note that there wasn't a ring on her friend's finger.

"I said yes of course. I was hesitant because we just got together but like...who else do you see me with if it's not him?"

"Wait that's actually so cute...I'm happy for you. Because we all remember when Kay swore down you was going to be his wife in 9th grade."

"Thank you." The girl smiles. "I'm actually glad I went to your family event that day."

"Told you! Kay was never going to be mad at you forever." She said.

On cue Kay yelled out Ariana's name from behind them. She turned around seeing him waving with his hands to come over. Him and Dougie were still seating on the picnic blanket, sharing a blunt.

It was the pair's last day in Mexico and all though it was bittersweet, they decided to spend their last day around the beach having a picnic. Everyone in the trip liked that although they came in a small group, every couple did their own thing for the most part.

"Let me go see what this man want." Ariana excused herself as she walked over the warm sand to get to him.

Kay looked down at the scrambled eggs in front of him and immediately thought of his daughter and her hate for eggs. He looked up at Ariana who was towering over him since she was standing.

"You look good. I told you that today?" He licked his already damp lips, eyeing the darkskin 5'6 women. She had on a sleeveless floral print floral dress, her face glowing fresh off the wake up.

Dougie sucked his teeth and got up. "Y'all niggas about to be on some freaky shit." He said taking the blunt from Kay and walking off to Giselle. Ari laughed it off as Kay kept his eyes on her.

"What are we doing today?" She said putting her hands on her hips. He had a mischievous look on his face which only made her more curious of what he had planned for their last day.

"Our flight in a few hours so I wanted to get to the place right now. If that's cool with you ma?"

"Okay." She stuck her hands out, pulling him from the blanket. He shook off a sand he had stuck on his body and held her hand, leading her over to the car he rented out here.

"I'm nervous. Where are you taking me?" She said sliding into the car as he opened up the door for her.

"You'll see. The place not even that far out."

"Okay." She simply said, giving up on the idea of him telling her anything.

His hand rested on her thigh, occasionally rubbing in between her thighs. He was obviously in one of his moods and she picked up on it.

"Kay stop looking at me like that."

"Looking at you like what?" He chuckles, pressing the gas as the light turned green.

"You know what you're doing."

Ten more minutes went by as they approached a place called "Esco Diamonds." She made a face, and looked over at Kay who was already out of the car, jogging to her side to open up the door. He couldn't help but smirk as she got out and looked around.

"I hope you're not doing what I think you're doing." She said as she squeezed his hand lightly, walking up to the store.

"Hola!" An adorable old woman greeted them at the door. Ariana smiled and waved at her.

"Hola, llamé antes. Déjenme ver los anillos de compromiso más grandes que tienen. (Hi, I called earlier, let me see the biggest engagement rings you have.)

Ariana gasped lowly to herself feeling overwhelmed with the array of rings that was out on display already for her. For her. That's what made her feel so soft inside, Kay made sure she had it all. Even if his hands were tied, he always made sure she had it all.

"I thought you said you were going to wait til we get back."

"Why wait?" He shrugged. "Let's make the trip as memorable as possible." He mumbled, kissing her neck and giving her butt a squeeze. People stared at them but they were too infatuated with each to care. She gave him a lustful look before looking back at the displays,while the lady brought out more.

"Wow. This is so pretty." She said looking over a round diamond piece. She looked at the price and quickly stepped back. The diamond cut was so beautiful she couldn't keep her eye off it but she couldn't fathom with him spending so much money on a ring.

"Pick whatever one you want." He said placing his arm on her back, guiding her through the row of rings.

There a variety to chose from. Gold cut to Silver cut rings, and she was getting overwhelmed with the fact that she was going to be a wife. She felt her eyes get teary and Kay's smiled dropped as he gave her a concerned look.

"Ma what's wrong?" He said, pulling her close to him.

"Nothing. It's just I can't believe this is happening."

"It's real. You always be there for me, I can't do none of this without you." He mumbled, giving her the same look he gave her when he fell in love with her.

"It's just so much choices." She gave him a small smile before looking back at the display of rings.

"Este es nuestro más nuevo. Anillo de 18 Kilates. (This is our newest. 18 Karat ring.) The lady said to them.

"She said this is their newest ring." He said keeping her close to him. It was an oval diamond ring with an 18k yellow gold band. She loved it. More than the last ring she looked at. It was simple yet classy, and it just screamed "Ari."

"You like it mama?"

"I love it. This is so beautiful. Can I try it on?"

The lady nodded and came from around the displays. She adjusted the ring and slid it slowly on Ariana's hand. Kay watched the moment; seeing how in love she was in the ring.

"It look beautiful on you." He pressed his lips on her cheeks that were already risen due to her smiling.

"Tiene el tamaño perfecto." (It's the perfect size.) The lady said.

"I want this one." She said eagerly. Kay laughed and nodded at the lady. "You sure you don't wanna look at any other ones?" He asked her.

"No. This one is perfect. How much is it?"

"Don't worry about it."

Kay and the store owner proceeded to discuss how much the ring was and he went ahead and paid for it in full while Ariana stood there in awe, looking at her ring.

"Manman mwen gen yon bon nouvèl!" (Mom I have some good news!) Ariana chirped on facetime with her mother. She was even more happy that her mom approved of it all. Kay watched her with patience and let her finish her conversation as the store owner gave him his receipt. Once he saw her hand up the call, he wrapped his arms around her, repeatedly kissing her neck and face. He held her hand and walked her out of the store, bringing them back out to the scorching heat.

"Now you can say your engagement ring from Mexico."

"Thank you babe. Like deadass, we been through a lot of ups and down but I never thought I'd be here today with you. I'm glad we found our way back to each other." She caught him off guard when she pressed her lips on his briefly.

"Me too. You the love of my life. I never stopped loving you, gangsta." He said running his hands over her backside.

"You keep touching on me...what you wanna do?" She asked boldly.

"The car windows tinted. You let me know watchu on." He said giving her butt another squeeze. She gave him a look of approval and he didn't waste any time unlocking the doors.
