Chapter 65

Freya said" Something isn't right."
Kol said" Well, you said you put the prophecy to rest. So what's the worry?"
" I didn't sleep last night. I just had this feeling of dread. I don't know if it's my own guilt, or maybe it's my intuition telling me something's coming."
" And what's this? Your early warning system?"
" This map is spelled to trace Niklaus' enemies. Let's just hope I'm being paranoid." Once she started the spell, a lot of blood dots came up and we're all headed to New Orleans.
" I guess you're not being paranoid when there is, in fact, a horde of killers out to get you."

Kol and I had a lot of weapons spread out on the table, Nik walked in,
I said" Freya's tracking your former sirelings now, So It won't be long. Which works for us. We could use a good fight."
Elijah said" Well, we do have an advantage. No vampire may enter this stronghold so long as the deed remains in Freya's name."
Kol said" So what? We hide in here while our enemies mass at the front gate?"
Nik said" Well, if they're so determined to die at our hands, let them come." Then we heard a thud upstairs, we walked out and into the courtyard.
Marcel said" I never thought it would come to this. But, as always, the Mikaelsons made my choice for me."
" Marcel. How?"
" How are we in your home? I have friends who can nullify a deed, foreclose on a property, like that. Or did you mean, how am I not a rotting corpse?"
" I thought my friend was dead, and yet here you are. So send these fools away, and let's talk. You and me."
" Is that relief I hear? Really? If I hadn't been one step ahead of you, I would be at the bottom of the river."
Elijah said" Marcel, your anger is with me. I am the one that's responsible for this crime against you."
" One thing I learned sticking around this family, Elijah, you take on one of you, you are taking on all of you. These guys, Klaus' sirelings, they're here to bear witness today."
Kol said" Are you planning to put on a little show, Marcellus?"
" Damn straight, I am. The fall of the Mikaelsons. And guess what? The show has already started."
" I know you're hurt. I loved Davina, too. And it would break her heart to see you like this."
" Don't mention her name. If it weren't for you, she'd still be alive."
" But she's not. This is an insult to her memory." Marcel took a punch then Kol dodged it, but then Marcel bit him, Kol screamed in pain. Marcel snapped his neck, I sped to him as Marcel threw him.
I mumbled" No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No! No!" Nik and Elijah started fighting him then Elijah was bit once Nik was thrown. Elijah was crouching, Nik got angry, then Rebekah was in between Marcel and Nik.
She said" Stop!"
Marcel said" Rebekah."
" Hayley has Hope and Freya. Take our brothers and sister and go now. Marcel will not hurt me. Not if he knows what's good for him." Nik sped to Kol and got him out of my arms and lifted him up, he grabbed my hand and then pulled me up, I was shaking severely, he sped to Elijah and we sped out of there.

We got to The penthouse,
Elijah said" Freya!" We carried Kol in then Elijah stopped, Nik and I put Kol Onto the couch.
Kol said" I'm going to die."
Nik said" You're not going to die."
" That sounds familiar. Isn't that what you said to Finn and Cami?"
" Look, Lucien engineered his venom from the seven werewolf packs. So maybe that's the key to a cure."
Freya said" Oh, great. That's the first place in a puzzle none of us will be alive to solve. I'm poisoned, Rebekah's hexed and our brothers are bitten. We need three different cures to three different ailments. Each of which could take years to find, and none of us will make it through the day." I rubbed Kol's arms, tears rolling down my face, Dammit! I cannot lose them, I cannot do this.
Kol said" You know, maybe it's fair that you and I pay for what was done to Davina."
Freya said" Hey. Davina didn't want revenge, okay?"
" Just put me out of my misery! At least put me to bloody sleep."
I breathed in, then rubbed Kol's hair, What the hell am I going to do without this lot?

Elijah said" It's not a trial. It's a suicide. Take Hayley, take Hope, get the hell out of the city."
Hayley said" No. We won't leave you." Kol then started freaking out,
He said" No! Davina! Please! No, please don't leave me!" Elijah held him down, Hayley grabbed his legs, I held his face, closing my eyes and crying.
Nik was going to the trial, he hugged me and kissed my cheek. Then he walked out, I breathed out then paced back and forth, looking towards Kol. I walked out into the hall and cried out, covering my face and sliding down the wall, breathing heavily. Hayley came out, she said" Oh, Raven." She walked to me and crouched down, she hugged me, I hugged her back, crying.

Freya's plan was to put them all to sleep, till Hayley and I can find a cure for all of them. We don't know how long that's going to take, but to be exact... we have forever, we're immortal after all.
Kol was screaming," Don't hurt her! Davina!"
Hayley ran to him, saying" Freya, it's getting worse. Calm down, calm down, it's okay. Davina's gone. She's gone. She's at peace now. It's okay." Kol grabbed her neck, Elijah sped to him and pulled him from her,
Elijah said" Brother! Calm yourself. Are you okay?"
" Yeah. I'm fine." I walked to them and held Kol's hand, shushing him gently.
I whispered" You're gonna be okay, I'm gonna make sure you're all okay. I won't stop till I do." I rubbed his hair back and kissed his head," I'm gonna protect you, Kol. Nik will talk his way out of this, and everything will Be Okay, I won't give up till I have 3 cures for all of you."

I sat Kol in a chair, then Elijah came out and sat. Hayley said" Rebekah, is it over?" I listened in,
Rebekah said" Nik found a way to stay alive. Our plan worked. Now it's up to you, Hayley. Make his sacrifice count."
" We will. Hang tight. I'll come for you soon."
Freya said" Rebekah's dagger. It has her blood." I held Kol's hand, as Freya started chanting. The blood connected and then they passed out. I lost it and crouched down, covering my face and crying. I stood up, and then breathed heavily, I looked at Hayley, I blinked away the tears then nodded at Hayley as she looked at me.

Once we had them all in caskets, and into a moving truck, I said" I'll stay... Uh.. I'll stay back here, Alright?"
Hayley said" Raven, you don't have to do that, you shouldn't be back here alone."
" I'll be fine, Hayley, I just... I just need to be alone for a little, I need to get my head straight. I'm sticking with you, and Hope, I'm getting my family back."
" Alright, I don't know where we're going yet, but we'll get somewhere."
" Let's just focus on getting the hell out of New Orleans." She nodded and then I put Hope into the car seat while she went to close the last casket which was Elijah's. Once she came to the front, I went to the back, and closed the door, I stepped over caskets till I got to Kol's then laid down next to his. I whispered" I'm not giving up, ever again." I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
It's only Hayley and I now, Nik is probably enduring impossible pain, the rest of my siblings are in another place till further notice. Wow, I'm the only Original left standing... this is just great, really, great!
