Chapter 30- Battle Over

Isang lingo din akong nasa hospital at isang lingo pang nagpapahinga sa kwarto ko sa palace. Hindi sinasagot ni Henry ang mga tawag ko at lalong hindi ko siya makita sa loob ng palasyo.

Tinawagan ko si Lucas dahil siya lang ang nakukulit ko ngayon.
"I will go back to Heron today." Sabi nito.
"Can you..." Napabangon ako bigla at napangiwi dahil sa sugat ko sa tagiliran.
"What?"
"Can you drop me at Henry's estate?"
"What the hell are you going to do this time?" He asked in an irritated tone.
"I just need to talk to him."
"For what? That bloody man just disappeared. If he is as honorable as he thought he is, he should at least reply to you." Lucas said honestly.
"But he is not replying so I better check him out."
"He should be the one who's checking you out. You were almost murdered, Xykie."
"Can you drop me or not? I am being positive in here and you keep being negative and all." Naiinis na sabi ko.
"I will call their estate and see if he is there. At least they will answer my call and you will not be there unannounced." Sabi ni Lucas at binabaan ako ng phone. Tama nga naman. Punta ako doon ng uninvited.

Hinintay ko siyang tumawag ulit at sinagot ko agad ang tawag niya pagka-ring pa lang.
"Excited much." Sabi nito.
"Ano na?"
"He is there, said Morris. I told him you will be there today. I will fetch you and you should tell to Jacqueline. I don't want her to chase me because of you." Sabi nito.
"Salamuch, Lucas."
"I will be there in half an hour," Lucas said before he turns off the phone.
Excited ako na nag-ayos ng bag. Naglagay ako ng damit na pang at least tatlong araw sa bag pack ko. Lumabas ako sa kwarto ko at hinanap si Ate Jack. Sa kasamaang palad, busy si Ate at si Kuya William ang nakita ko. Sa kanya na lang ako nagpaalam. Ayaw pa nga akong payagan noong una pero nadaan naman sa pilit.

Tahimik ako habang sakay ng Ferrari ni Lucas.
"You must be pleased that you are riding a Ferrari." Pagyayabang ni Lucas. I snorted.
"Ano akala mo sa akin, dukha."
"What is dukha?" Tanong nito.
"Mahirap." Sagot ko. Doon pa lang siya natawa ng bahagya.
"Mas maganda pa ang kotse ni Kuya Carlos sayo." Pagyayabang ko.
"Who's Carlos?"
"Sebastian. The fucking football player."
He snorted. "He is a fucking superstar. His endorsement pays for his car."
"True. And he is my cousin."
Napanganga si Lucas. I chuckled.
"His mom and my dad are siblings." Pagmamalaki ko pa.
"So your dad... is it true?" Nag-aalangang tanong ni Lucas.
"That he was an assassin? Yeah. A ruthless US assassin who trained us all. Including Ate Jack when we were small." Napanganga na naman si Lucas.
"I am capable of killing them all, Lucas. I just didn't do it. I was careful not to hit them fatally." I said honestly.
"Well, I am not as good-natured as you so they are dead now." Sagot nito ng walang pag-aalinlangan. 

Naghihintay si Morris sa akin sa labas ng bahay ni Henry.

"Hi Morris." Bati ko sa kanya paglabas ko ng kotse ni Lucas.
"Lady Xykie, Your Grace." Morris bowed his head to Lucas.
"I'll leave Xykie into your hands, Morris." Sabi ni Lucas. Nagmamadali siyang umalis sa estate ni Henry.

"Where is Henry?" Tanong ko kay Morris na pinagpapawisan at hindi makatingin ng deretso sa akin.
"He is..."
"Morris..." I looked at him questioning. "Are you okay?"
"Yes, My Lady." Sagot ni Morris.
"You are sweating too much."
"Must be the weather." Sagot nito.
"Okay..." Alanganin akong tumango. "I need to speak to Henry."
"Would you like some tea first or milk or rest? I heard you were stabbed and I was worried that the drive from the palace..."
I raise my hand to Morris to stop him talking. The old butler is babbling like he was nervous that I am here.
"Where is Henry?" I asked him directly. Napalunon si Morris bago sumagot.
"At the library, My Lady." Mahinang sagot nito.

Iniwan ko si Morris sa porch at pumasok sa bahay ng nagmamadali. Mabilis naman na sumunod si Morris sa akin at pinipigilan ako. But it's too late. Nahawakan ko na ang knob ng pintuan at binuksan ko iyon.

"My Lady...no, please." Sabi ni Morris bago tumambad sa akin ang eksena sa loob ng library.

Henry was sitting on the sofa, half-naked from the top and with a satisfied smile on his face. And in front of him is a blond lady wearing lace and strings that I only saw in porn movies. The woman is dancing in front of him, her butt is pressing on Henry's crotch. She is playing with her boobs with both hands and Henry's face is full of male pleasure.

Napako ako sa kinakatayuan ko. Si Morris ay mahinang nagmumura sa likuran ko. Nanginginig ang kamay ko at hindi ako makagalaw.
Unti-unting tinanggal ng babae ng suot niya. Humarap siya kay Henry at parang tukso na dahan dahan niyang binubuksan ang zipper ng pants nito.

"Morris..." Tawag ni Henry. Nakatingin si Henry sa pintuan. Nakatitig sa akin na parang hindi niya ako kilala.
"Please close that damn door." Sabi nito. Henry's face is full of arrogance. Mukha siyang nasasarapan sa ginagawa ng babae sa kanya. Bago makakilos si Morris sa likuran ko, ako mismo ang nagsara ng pintuan.

Unti-unting tumulo ang luha ko sa harapan ni Morris. Wala ni isang hikbi akong pinakawalan.

"Lady..." Bulong ni Morris.
"Can you please do me one last favor, Morris?"
"Anything, My Lady." Sagot ni Morris.
"Can you ask someone to take me to the palace...and then drop me to France after." Bulong ko sa kanya.

Napasinghap si Morris saka tumango.
"I will call Marissa to be with you, My Lady. Please let us do this for you." Tumango ako sa suggestion ni Morris.

Know when your battle is over... And it is over for me. It's time to go home.
