Part 44 Haughty headed
The next morning
Neither Arnav nor Khushi liked to get off the bed. Neither they were sleeping nor did they open their eyes. Neither they spoke nor did they get apart from one another's arms. Both of them knew that both are awakened. Turning her face, Khushi looked at the clock. It was ten to six.
"Arnav"
"Mmm?"
"It's 6o' clock"
"Mmmm"
"Let me see what aunty is doing"
"We will go later"
"You come later... I'm going"
"Garima aunty and Buaji are looking after her"
"that's why I have to go. Ratna aunty won't say anything but my Amma and Buaji will surely scold me if I don't visit aunty early in the morning"
Arnav chuckled.
"I have to go..."
"Ok... you go. I will come"
"mmm"
Arnav loosened his grip. Khushi sat on the bed and neatened her dress. Arnav tossed on the bed and laid by his stomach. Khushi looked at him and smiled. She laid on his back and closed her eyes. That action of hers brought a smile to Arnav's face.
"Don't you go?" he asked with a smile.
"mmm"
"Buaji may scold you"
"Mmm"
"What reason will you give?"
"I will tell them a man, made me spellbound on him"
"Have you spell bounded?" he asked, chuckling.
"Don't fly high..."
"This is not an answer to my question" he waited.
"mmm"
"What mmm?"
"You made me spellbound"
"Really?"
"Mmmm"
"From when?"
"When you laid by your stomach..."
"Oh, God... I have missed doing that before. I would have done that if I had known it makes difference in you"
"Mmm... you look handsome"
"Thanks"
"You are welcome"
"Khushi..."
"Mmm?"
"Don't you think prizing me openly can make me haughty?"
"You are talking like, I'm the first person who is prizing you... (She paused) tell me, didn't anyone prize you ever before?"
"It's different"
"How? People prized you... it didn't make you haughty. Then why now?"
"Who said it don't make me haughty? Ask the people who prized me. They will tell you how haughty I'm"

"I think nothing... let me see how haughty you are"
"Don't you trust my words?"
