i was packing and crying at the same time. not angry tears, but hurt tears. i almost cancelled going on tour, but it's my last one and i promised my fans i would do this for them anyway so i kinda had no other choice.
*incoming call from Kayla*
i had to snap out of my emotions before answering.
"Hi baby"
"Dang it took you forever to answer"
"I was doing something. What's going on?"
"What you doing?"
"Packing"
"Tay"
"Yes?"
"Put the phone on yo face"
"Why? Kayla what do you want guh"
"You crying!"
"Im not"
"Then show me your face"
"Ok... I was but I'm done now..."
"You don't wanna go on tour no more?"
"It's not that. It's just that Taraji won't be there by my side. I mean I understand why she wouldn't wanna just up and leave with me, but it's killing me on the inside"
"And five...four....three...two"
"What you counting down for?"
the door bell rang.
"One"
i swing the door open.
"Surprise crybaby" Kayla yelled over the phone. i threw it on the couch.
"Hey beautiful"
"Oh I love you so much"
"And I love you way more"
Taraji came with her suitcase. i didn't even let her come in before pulling her into a tight hug.
"TAY PICK ME UP!"
"I forgot you was there I'm sorry and I gotta go, love you baby"
"Oh so you tryna hang up cause ma-"
i hung up before she could finish and hugged T some more.
"I can't- I cant breathe baby" she laughed.
"I'm sorry I'm just happy to see you"
"Don't apologize. We can hug, but don't kill me boo"
"If I could stand here all day and do that I would trust me. What changed your mind though?"
"Well not only did Kayla annoy about it, but I wanted to be there for you and to support you for atleast a week or two and then go back home to her and the twins. I wanna make time for the three of y'all as much as I can"
