"Y/N, what flavour popcorn do you want?" You looked over at your friend as she ordered, ready for the movie.

"Uh, sweet please." You smiled and thanked her as she passed you the box. You smell it and you couldn't resist popping a piece into your mouth.

You were standing in line to watch a film that you and your friend had been waiting for since the trailer came out. You were both very excited and couldn't wait to get in. Seeing as though it was the premiere, you had been waiting in line for ages in the queue.

"So, Y/N, how good is this movie going to be?" Your friend smiled at you and you couldn't help but grin back.

"It's going to be amazing." You grabbed her arm and linked it with yours. You two were very close.

There was only a couple of minutes until you were allowed to go in and you couldn't explain your excitement. You looked over to the right as movement caught your eye. A couple of boys, dressed in black pushed their way to the front. You couldn't contain your anger. Who do they think they are, pushing to the front like that? Before you even knew what you were doing you grabbed one of the boys arms. He turned around and looked you up and down, his mouth turned into a small smirk.

"What do you want, sweetheart?" He shot you smile that would break most girls hearts, but not yours.

"What I want is for you to not push in." You glared at him and his smile wavered, but remained on his face.

"Well, that's too bad. We can't all get what we want." He ripped his arm out of your grip. You looked up at him in disgust. He's just a player.

"Y/N, just let him go to the front, he's not worth the time." Your friend said and rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, sweetheart, let us go." His mouth was turned up at one side as he looked you so deep in the eyes that you froze. You didn't even realise that he'd taken a piece of your popcorn and placed it in his mouth.

"Oh, sweet." He looked at you once more and walked off with his group of friends. They were all laughing.

You turned to your friends and tried to compress your anger.

"I hate jerks like them. They look as if life is given to them on a golden plate." You clenched your hands but plastered a smile on your face. "But I'm not going to worry about that right now because I'm going to enjoy this film."

The line was filing in and you and your friend trailed in. You sat in the middle, in perfect view of the screen. However, you weren't as excited as before. Those boys had really annoyed you, especially the one in the front. He stole your popcorn and no one steals your popcorn.

The film had just started to play when you felt the first piece of popcorn thrown at your head. You heard the obnoxious laughter of that boy from earlier. You were determined not to react to it and it soon stopped after the tenth piece hit you.

There was actually a couple of minutes where you could watch the movie and enjoy your time. That was until you felt something cold and wet slide down your back. You took in a sharp intake of breath and shot out of your seat. Your friend looked at you weirdly.

"Hey, sit down." She hissed, "This is so embarrassing." You could hear the boys laughing behind you. You felt tears prick your eyes. Before you could let them fall you ran out of the theatre and straight to the bathroom. You locked the cubicle and immediately got the ice cube out of your top. That prick. How dare he. Furious tears streamed down your cheeks. You unlocked the cubicle and washed your face in the sink. There was a few strange glances but no one asked if you were okay.

You wiped your face and walked out of the toilets. There was no way you could go back in there and be humiliated even more.

"Hey, are you okay?" You whipped your head around to see the boy from earlier that you still don't now the name of.

"How do you, out of anyone, have the right to ask how I am? You did this!" Your eyes were filling up again.

"Hey! Hey! Hey! It was only a joke." He tried laughing it off, but it died out once your face didn't change. "Okay, maybe it was my fault, but I'm not a heartless person."

"Well, I beg to differ." You tried to walk away but his hand latched on to yours. You didn't dare look back.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't realise I hurt you that much." He actually sounded sincere. You still kept quiet. "Uh- maybe I could make it up to you. Ah-" you could hear shuffling coming from his pockets. "This is my number. Call me and maybe we could meet up under better circumstances." He pressed a piece of paper into the palm of your hand.

"When I called you 'sweetheart' earlier, it was because I like you. I don't use that on just anyone, you know. Just give me a chance." He released your hand and you continued to walk away. You stuck the piece of paper in your pocket. You turned back around once and gave him a quick smile. Maybe he wasn't as bad as he looked.

Once you got home you text your friend to tell her that you left. You sat on your bed and pulled out the piece of paper that the boy gave you.

'***** ******
This is my number, incase you were wondering, my names Jun and I would quite like to get to know you.'

You typed his number into your phone and text him.

'So, you don't use 'sweetheart' for anyone, hey?'

I didn't take long before he replied.

'No, just for you'
