"Please don't go", I whimpered in his arms. His arms were around me tightly as I balled my eyes out. "I have to baby", he said gently. "But I promise you, I'll be back. And you're going too".
"Yeah, but I don't want to and I don't want you too either!", I cried.
I stayed in his arms and kept sobbing as he tried to sooth me.
I wanted to remember and enjoy this summer. I wanted it to be different and drama free, but that's exactly what I got. A summer full of drama, tears, heartache, pain, and goodbyes. There were a few happy moments, but they didn't make up for anything. I was afraid this would happen. But I took the chance anyway and what I was afraid of happened. Now, it was just another summer romance.
