Chapter 16

It's been a month since the accident. Harry finally got out the hospital yesterday. He's been to physical therapy to help walking and singing.

It was 8:30 and I was getting ready for court today. Everyone was spiffy-ing up trying to be formal. I just got out the shower and Harry took his turn after me.

I put on black work pants, a red blouse, a black blazer, and black formal heels. I flat ironed my hair and put light mascara and eye liner on.

I walked out in the living room and everyone had on black suits looking as posh as ever. Rayne had a black pencil skirt, white heels, a royal blue blouse and a black blazer.

"Wow you guys now how to clean up well"

"You too" Rayne smiled

Harry came out behind me. He was also wearing a black suit but he had a bowtie.

"All ready?"

"Wait food" Niall said

"Yeah I forgot I was almost starving to death" I said joining him in the kitchen

I put two frozen waffled in the toaster then made a plate of fruit and cereal. I felt like I was on a diet but I wasn't.

After my waffles were done I got the syrup and started eating. Everyone else went with cereal and pop tarts or something.

"Hey Em do you want a pop tart?" Liam asked

"No I'm good"

"What do you not like pop tarts or something?" Louis exasperated

"No not really..."

"What?! What is wrong with you?!" Niall asked

"I thought you lived pop tarts!" Harry said

"Haha nope"

"Don't worry I don't really like pop tarts either" Zayn said

"What the hell is wrong with you people?!" Rayne said as I just laughed at their amusement

"What do you have against pop tarts?" Liam asked

"I don't know they're just weird"

"Wow you're going to fail in court with that attitude" Louis sassed as I shot him a death glare

"Sorry I didn't mean it" He apologized but it really didn't matter because I was already pissed. It's hard enough thinking that I might actually go to jail

"Whatever let's just go" I mumbled grabbing my phone from my room

LOUIS'S POV

"Wow you're gonna fail in court with that attitude" I said out loud. Oops. Emily just glared at me

"Sorry I didn't mean it" Crap she looked pissed

"Whatever let's just go" She stormed out the kitchen slamming a door behind her

"Nice going genius" Rayne said

"I'm sorry it slipped out! I didn't mean it!"

"We know Lou but just be more careful next time" Liam said

"She's just under a lot of pressure we can't be throwing things like that at her distracting her" Zayn said

"And if she doesn't win this case I could lose my girlfriend" Harry said

"Guys I'm sorry!"

"Don't tell us tell her" Niall said

"You're right let me go talk to her" I walked out the kitchen and in front of Harry's door
