Chapter 17

The machine finally stopped and that meant I was finished whatever workout that was. I've been at the gym for three hours and it's 9 now. I woke up at 6 and couldn't go back to sleep. The girls were still sleeping in the living room when I left so I assumed everyone was still sleeping.

I moved on to the weights in the weight room. I really need to build more muscle to defend myself. I walked through the door to the weight room and all eyes were on me..guess I was the only girl here..

I walked over to the simple 5-10 pound weights and started lifting until a guy about 6 feet tall with blonde hair approached me. He had a few piercings one being on his lip and had an Australian accent I think? I took out my headphones to hear the words coming out of his mouth.

"Hey what's a pretty little lady like you doing here?" He smirked..oh lord was he about to rape me or something..nahh

"Just lifting some weights" I shrugged

"Obviously" He rolled his eyes..jerk much?

"Problem?"

"Nothing it's just girls don't really work out especially with weights" He emphasized 'girls'

"Why can't girls work out? Girls can be just as strong as guys"

"Not really according to science"

"Science is crap if you're looking at it from that point of view"

"Feisty huh?" He smirked again

"No just standing up for what I think is right or at least makes sense"

"So a politician?"

"Do you know anything about politics or science?"

"Of course...do you know who I am?"

"No..should I?" I retorted

"Your loss"

"Ok well whatever" I put the weights down then walked off

"Do I get a name?"

"Emily" I said then continued walking..he was cute but a jerk and looked really familiar but I don't know.

I jogged back to the apartment then stepped in the elevator. No one else was in with me so I freely sang along with the music. I still had my headphones in as I walked up to our door. I unlocked the door and continued screaming the lyrics to Love Drunk by Little Mix. I danced along then realized it's time to be normal since everyone was still staring at me. I pulled out my headphones and paused the music

"Oh hey guys what's up" I said

"You like Little Mix?" Perrie asked

"Oh please it's my favorite girl band!"

"Who's your favorite guy band?" Harry smirked

"The beatles" I said with a straight face..it was funny because they believed me "I'm kidding losers..One Direction's my favorite guy band"

"Oh good because then we'd force you to love us" Louis said

"You know Little Mix and One Direction should go on tour together!" I said

"That'd be great but girl and guy bands can't tour together" Perrie frowned

"Aw stupid management!"

"Speaking of tour we leave this Friday for the world tour" Zayn said

"Ok cool um for how long though?"

"A year" Niall said

"What? Guys I have Uni" Rayne said

"And I have senior year"
