Chapter 40

"My mum told me" I was kind of speechless. What was I supposed to say though? He looked up at me for the first time as if asking for a response.

"Did you know?"

"Not until like 2 hours ago when she pulled me aside"

"Why does this keep happening to me?" He rolls over and groans in his pillow like a child who has just been sent to his room. I inched up closer to him and rubbed his back trying to comfort him

"I'm sorry Harry"

"They didn't even tell me they knew. A whole year went by..more than that and I was just clueless"

"They knew it would make you stop your dream and your career and for what? For me? That's ridiculous"

"I would have done it though"

"Harry don't be silly. I'm just a girl. And I couldn't let you do that"

"You're more important" Thank the lord his face was in his pillow because mine was as red as a tomato. He flipped over still kind of sad but felt comforted when I held his hand in mine

"Let's get some sleep" I said turning off the lights and getting under the covers with Harry. I shivered under the cold sheets as I was engulfed by Harry's strong arms.

"I love you" He said kissing my forehead

"I love you too" I smiled to myself even though he couldn't see then soon let sleep take over.

CHRISTMAS MORNING

My eyes suddenly blinked open as I realized what day it was. It was Christmas morning. I checked my phone and it was 7:30..normally I sleep till like 10 but not today. The sun still hadn't fully come up yet but it was good enough.

"Harry wake up!" I whispered

"Hmm" He groaned

"It's Christmas!"

"A few more minutes"

"No c'mon sleepy head!" I jumped out of bed and ripped the covers off. I found my sweatpants and slipped them on then washed my face and stuff. Harry was just curled up in a ball too lazy to get the covers.

Since he wasn't looking I grabbed the bag with all my presents and tiptoed downstairs putting them under the lit up tree. I cautiously looked around making sure no one was downstairs then fell two warm arms tighten around my waist.

I was a little startled but it was obviously Harry.

"Hm what are you doing down here?" He smirked at me as I turned around to face him with his arms still around me

"I forgot to put the presents under the tree..any way I thought you needed a few more minutes to be a lazyass"

"I saw you sneak downstairs and I didn't want you opening presents without me"

"Let's go get Gemma" We tiptoed up to her room and saw her peacefully sleeping. I lightly laid on her bed and stared at her

"Wakey wakey" I whispered poking her face "Gemma it's Christmas" Her eyes opened wide and so did her smile

"Give me two minutes. Harry go get mum and dad" He went downstairs and Gemma put on some shirts and threw her hair in a ponytail then we both walked downstairs finding Anne Robin and Harry sitting on the couch waiting for us

"Good morning" I smiled curling up to Harry as the fireplace started its flames

"Okay presents!" Gemma got on her knees bending over the presents. She handed them out to all of us and I opened the one Harry gave me. It was a Tiffany charm necklace with a heart locket and inside was a picture of us when we first started dating. I remembered this date.

Harry had taken me to the movies and after we were getting ice cream and got kicked out because we kept smearing ice cream over each other. In the picture we were trying to smile but ended up laughing as the cold substance stuck to our face.

"Aw I love it!" I wrapped my arms around Harry and kissed his cheek. Everyone else was opening their presents at the same time. I gave Anne and Robin a picture frame of all of us at the X factor auditions. Then Gemma received a new pair of knee high black boots from me.

Then for Harry I put a scrapbook of pretty much every picture we've ever taken throughout our whole existence together. Gemma gave me a gift card for £100 to Topshop.

"Omg I love you can we go shopping later?" I asked hugging her

"Definitely" She smiled

Anne handed Harry and I a medium size box. I was really curious as to what was in it though. When I opened a puppy jumped on my lap. Omg this was the best present ever.

"Now it's from all three of us and it's both of yours for your house" Gemma smiled

"I love it!" Harry said wrapping it's arms around the little fluff ball. It had black fur and was still just a puppy

"Thank you so much!" I hugged them all "Is it a boy or a girl?"

"It's a girl!"

"So how big will it get?" Harry asked

"That's its adult size" Anne smiled

"Yay so it will always be small enough to hold" Harry said making friends with the new puppy

"What are we going to name it?" I asked

"I like the name Lilah"

"Me too" I smiled hugging my puppy

"Merry Christmas" Harry pressed his soft lips on mine

"Merry Christmas baby"

Okay well it's not Christmas but oh well just pretend haha.
