Chapter 15

I woke up, startled.
God! Not again. I was dreaming?
Why was this happening to me.
Loitering around in the streets would definitely not help me now.

I knew what I had to do next.
I had to use the Ouija board.
But I was too scared to do it alone.
I called Lily and Arthur because I knew they wouldn't be scared to do this.
I sort of challenged them to try this game and said jokingly that they weren't courageous enough.
And this was enough to make them agree to my plan.

Mom and Dad were out for work and Hadley was in her room.
I heard the doorbell ring.
I welcomed Arthur and Lily and without wasting a minute, headed towards the attic.

I kept the Ouija board on the floor and we sat around it, forming a circle.
Lily had a piece of paper and a pen so that she could write all the letters that the crystal would move on to.

I put my palm on the crystal and said , "Is there anyone else here, except us three?".
The crystal didn't move.
"Lisa, this crystal won't move unless it is controlled by some remote", he said jokingly.

I repeated again , "Is there someone else in here".
The crystal moved to 'Yes'.
" haha Lisa. Stop fooling us. I know you're doing that deliberately.", Arthur said laughing.

Before I could say anything I could feel my hand moving again with the crystal beneath it.
"Lily write down the letters, fast.", I said.
She quickly wrote the letters that the crystal moved on to.
"What does it read?", I asked.
Lisa said ," Arthur. You are gonna die the same way your grandfather died if you don't shut up."

Arthur's face turned pale.
"How's this possible? I haven't ever told anyone about my grandfather.
I think we should stop this."

The crystal moved to 'NO'.
Lily was continuously writing the letters on her paper.
I asked, "Who are you? What is your name?.
The crystal moved on to the letters again.
Lily read out , "Richard Cyrus".

I was scared to death.
But I continued asking him questions.
"What do you want?".
I waited for Lily to read out the words formed.
"I want to kill you all. If anyone of you tries to get up, I'm gonna kill all of you."

Lily started crying. We didn't know what to do.
Suddenly I could hear someone coming up in the attic.
It was Dad.
"What the hell are you people doing?", he screamed at us.

I saw the crystal moving.
Lily wrote the letters down with her trembling hands.
"Mr Simon. Get out of here."

"Lisa, what's going on?" , Dad asked me.
Suddenly some of the crockery from the shelves fell down.
"Dad, Please leave! Please!".

Dad didn't argue much and left.
I further said, " We are here to help you. What should we do for you?".

I didn't need Lily's help to read that message.
It said 'DIE'
