Hadley lay still.
Maybe it was The Holy Cross which made her calm.
"Lisa, why have you tied me to bed. It's hurting", Hadley said crying.

"I'm so sorry baby. I'll untie you.", I said sobbing.
I couldn't see my baby sis crying.
As soon as I  unknotted the ropes that helped us to tie her to bed, she sat with her face bent down.

"Hadley, I'm sorry honey.", I said.
I could hear her laughing.
In a second she broke the chain around her neck and threw it away.
She looked at me.
Her eyes revealed that it wasn't Hadley.

"You'll watch her die in pain", she said laughing.
"Just leave her", I screamed grabbing her neck.
"Lisa stop! Don't forget it's Hadley", Father Edward warned me.

I immediately took my hands off her.
We had to tie her back to bed.

We sat in the living room, thinking about what to do next.
"Father are you convinced that she is possessed?", I asked Father Edward.

"Yes. She spoke in a language completely foreign to her and I have performed exorcisms quite a lot. I could see the color of her eyes change, her voice turn into something completely different.", Father Edward said.

"So we can perform an exorcism now?", I asked with high hopes.

"Lisa. Listen to me carefully. Exorcisms are really dangerous. You never know what might happen, Hadley might die during the process. Maybe the spirits in this house try to attack you.Are you ready for the same?", he asked me.

I froze.
I really don't care about what happens to me but I can't let Hadley die.
I can't live without her. She is my life, my everything.
But I guess we had no choice.
This was necessary.

"Okay", I said.
Granny talked to Dad about the same.
Obviously he wasn't ready to allow us for the exorcism but Dr. James further supported Granny by saying that Hadley and Mom are not medically ill.
It's something else.

I was too scared.
I wanted to see Hadley once again.
I went to her room. She was crying. "Lisa, why are you doing this to me. I hate you for this", she said.
I broke down into tears.
"I'm sorry my love but I have to do this for you. Please have faith in me.",I said.

"Too late, my love", she said laughing.
"We'll see Wendy. I am no more afraid of you", I said and left.

Father Edward would be performing the exorcism the very next morning.
I couldn't sleep that night.
Maybe I'll lose Hadley and Mom forever.

It's strange how all the time I had been blaming Katie, Amelia for whatever was going on but I never realised that they weren't the actual cause.
It was Wendy.
The Girl I didn't notice.
