May alam ka ba sa party ni Maya tonight?

From: Everly Estrella

Exclusive invites siya. With password and shit.

I rolled my eyes. Ano 'to? Nasa Prohibition Era ba tayo? Akala ko sa New York lang nangyari 'yun. Bakit may nagfi-feeling maging secret bar dito sa Hermosa? They're not even hiding.

They're not even trying.

I called Everly instead. May mga kailangan akong malaman na siya lang ang makakasagot dahil possible na nakapunta na siya before dahil kay Reed. 

"Sino bantay nila? May bouncers?" tanong ko kay Everly pagkasagot niya.

"Merong bouncers. Usually male students lang ng DASU," sagot niya. "I wasn't invited this year. So, hindi ako makakapunta."

Male students as bouncers. Easy-peasy. "Alright. I got it. Sasamahan mo ba ako?"

"We don't have invites, Ara," Everly deadpanned.

I smirked at her as if she could see me. "Don't worry, I got you." 

"Are we gonna gatecrash?" she asked, a bit skeptic.

Don't tell me, sa lahat ng pinag-gagawa naming dalawa before ngayon pa siya matatakot. It's just gatecrashing.

"Scared?" pang-aasar ko sa kanya. 

At bakit siya matatakot? She's an Estrella at takot lang nila kay Reed.

"I'm actually excited!" she answered without a beat. I can actually imagine her perking up.

I rolled my eyes. Gusto niya rin pala. "Sige. I'll ask Leila rin. See you later?"

"I'll pick you up, guys. I know where her house is."

Okay. Let's move on to the other important shit. "Alright. May dress code ba?"

Everly sighed. "Preppy."

Eww. Anong klaseng party ang may dress code na 'preppy'? Retirement house ba bahay ni Maya? Don't tell me, 10PM tapos na 'yung party niya dahil may curfews sila? 

"Of course. We'll wear slutty clothes." 

Everly burst out laughing. "My parents will kill me... But what the heck, I don't care."

"This is a good idea, Everly," I told her before I guzzled my first beer bottle of the night. 

Naisipan ni Everly na mag pre-game kami sa kotse niya on-the-way to Maya's party. She brought a cooler filled with Coronas, Smirnoff Mules and Pale Pilsens with her. Hindi naman sigurado kung makakainom kami pagdating namin sa place ni Maya. Might as well drink now, right?

At isa pa, kailangan namin ng lakas ng loob na alak lang ang makakapag-bigay.

"Ano bang end-goal natin?" tanong ni Everly habang ina-adjust ang hem ng denim skirt niya. Sumunod si Everly sa utos ko na magsuot kami ng 'slutty clothes.' She partnered her denim skirt with black off-shoulder crop top.
