Apollo's POV

"I need your help," was how I greeted Reed when he finally answered my call.

His tone was instantly alert because of it. "What's going on?"

I stopped pacing around my room and closed my eyes, breathing through my nose slowly. "Sahara left. She left Hermosa with Leila. Nobody has seen them since last night."

Reed whistled. "Damn, bro. Are you sure they left Hermosa? Did you check in with Everly?"

"Leila left Dad a letter saying goodbye. Pero si Sahara, no word. She left her phone in her bedroom, Reed. Binura niya lahat ng nasa phone niya para hindi namin sila ma-trace kung saan man sila pupunta."

He didn't answer immediately. But when he did, I understood why.

"Is this about last night's announcement?"

"Yeah," I answered, hanging my head low in embarrassment. I know I shouldn't feel like this with him, he's a fucking dog. But what I did to Sahara felt way worse than what he did to Everly.

"If there's someone who knows about their location, si Everly 'yun, bro. Call her."

I nodded even though he doesn't see me. "Pupuntahan ko siya ngayon. I need to call Ysmael for reinforcement and to inform him about Leila leaving."

"Paano ka makakapunta dun? I thought wala kang car? Susunduin na kita."

Fuck. I forgot Dad confiscated my car keys. Paano ako makakaalis ng Casa Arcangel nito?

Napakamot ako ng ulo nang maalala ko si Zeus na hindi ko na nailalabas sa stable niya. "No, sayang oras. I'll probably ride Zeus."

"Alright, I'll meet you there."

Akmang ibababa ko na sana ang tawag nang pakawalan ko ang frustrations ko. Hindi ko pa pala nailabas lahat ng galit ko kay Dad. 

"Fuck, pre. I'm so fucking furious I can't see straight." Huminga ako nang malalim para pakalmahin ang sarili ko. My heart was still beating wildly, and my limbs were already feeling numb. "Hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin ko kapag hindi ko siya mahahanap."

I heard him sigh from the other line. "Apollo, lock it in. You can't afford to lose your shit. Let's focus on finding them, okay?"

He's right. Wala akong mapapala kung magpapadala ako sa galit ko. I might never see my girl again if I don't get a hold of myself.

"Okay."

I dropped the call. I turned around and was met by Tita Elvira's puffy eyes, I was gonna ask her why she went inside my room without knocking when she held out her hand.

"Here, take this. Use your dad's truck," she said, offering me the car keys to my father's Land Rover. "Please find them, Apollo. Bring back my daughter."

"I swear to you, I don't know anything!" Everly shouted at us in indignation.

"Bakit maaga kang umalis kagabi?" mabilis na pambabara ni Reed sa kanya.

The left side of her lips curled in anger before she exploded. "I had sex with a guy I met last night, okay na? Abswelto na ba ako, Reed?" She took a step closer to him, daring him to say something. "O gusto mo pa ng details? Gusto mo malaman pangalan niya? Count me in, hindi ko rin alam pangalan niya since I fucked him without asking his name."
