Days passed and everything
got worse and worse.
My live was crashing down
and there was absolutely nothing
I could do about it anymore.

I protested in every way
possible, every way you can imagine,
but without me they can do it quite properly though. So good, they are searching for my lover, my beloved murderer.

They do not need me, they never did.
I was just a tiny piece in a big game.

With the ring they were
going at a fast pace,
it was absolutely incredible
and insane. They already knew more than ever and it is not even a week ago they took the ring from me.

They followed the tracks,
followed the small answers
leading to the big one.
Leading them to him.

Conversations with them
were never pleasant,
firing their questions away and expecting me to
answer and admit.

The woman I met only
a couple of days ago was
the one who moved at the fastest pace. Karoline knew how to
get her way.

She already said my
so-called-captor is the one who
murdered Elijah and yes,
they are right. But eventhough my mind says Harry should be punished indeed, my heart protests.

And they always say to follow your heart, follow the things it tells
you by beating.

I do not say anything about him being a suspect and saying they are right,
nor do I tell them anything.
But as I said before, it is not needed,
without me they can find him one way or another.

"June, how nice of you to come and see me. I have been waiting for you,"
Karoline says when I enter her all white office. A big room with a lot of windows, letting me see the outside of the building.

I only nod and look at her,
expecting her to take the lead in this dreadfull conversation.

I once tried to ignore them all
and just avoid the sessions we were going to have, but my mother found out and told me she would drive me here and wait for me outside the office.

"We will start slowly,"
she hands me a cup of water,
for which I have asked and I
take a sip.
"How did the captor treat you?"

"Good."
I answer shortly.

She smiles and inches closer with her head, her eyes staring into mine and intimidating me.
"Good. If I ask you to describe him,
how exactly would you do that?"

"Nicer than all of you together."

She chuckles and writes something down on the paper in front of her.
I lean over and try to read what the damn thing says, but it is too small.

"Do you want him to be locked up?"

I stare blankly at her and wait for an reaction to break free. For about a minute she does nothing,
completely nothing and I find myself getting a bit annoyed with her.

"So about the ring then. I assume he gave you the thing."
I look at my nails and nod,
they already know the
answer though.
"He did. Beautiful thing."
