Jaylan: "Hey," She says to Alaric when he comes down the stairs "Want some coffee?" Alaric: "Yeah thanks." He says taking a cup from her Jaylan: "So I heard a little incident happened last night." She says laughing a little into her cup Alaric: "Yeah. It wasn't my most favorite moment. Look if at any time this gets uncomfortable for you or Brielle just let me know and I'll back off." Jaylan: "Oh no it's okay. It actually feels nice having you around. Plus Brielle loves you." She says smiling at him Alaric: "Still feels kinda weird." Jaylan: "Well maybe if you stopped looking so far into this you wouldn't feel that way." Alaric: "Yeah I'll try. Well, I gotta go but I'll see you later." Jaylan: "Wait you're coming back?" She asks surprised making him look at her in awkwardness before she laughs at him "Kidding." She says as he laughs a little and waves bye at her
*Later Jaylan and Brielle are sitting in the kitchen eating when the doorbell rings
Stefan: "Hi. Uh, can we talk?" Elena: "Why?" She asks after opening the door to see the Salvatore brothers Damon: "We went to see Katherine." Elena: "Come on in." Damon: "Hey squirt." He says to Brielle as she says hi while chewing her food and Damon goes to kiss Jaylan on the head and they tell them about what Katherine said Jaylan: "You don't believe her, do you?" Damon: "No, of course not. We just want the moonstone." Stefan: "According to Rose's friend Slater there's a way to destroy the spell that Klaus wants to break." Damon: "No spell, no doppelganger sacrifice. Ergo, you live." He says taking a piece of bacon from Brielle's plate making her look over at him as he smiles at her Elena: "How do you destroy it?" Stefan: "By releasing it from the moonstone." Jaylan: "How do you know this is gonna work?" Damon: "Because we have a crafty witch on our side." Elena: "You discussed it with Bonnie." Stefan: "She agreed to do anything she could to help us." Elena: "Its Katherine who has the moonstone. She not gonna give it to you." Stefan: "We're gonna get it from her." Damon: "Well, what he means to say is that we will pry it from her cold, dead hand if we have to" He says before looking down at Brielle who doesn't seem fazed by the conversation and covers her ears before looking at Jaylan "What exactly does she think we're talking about?" Jaylan: "A video game that we care deeply about." She says shrugging as he nods his head and uncovers her ears Stefan: "Bonnie just needs to find a way to release the seal long enough for us to get in, get the moonstone, and get out in time for her to return it." He says getting them back on track Jaylan: "Wow. It sounds like you guys have it all planned out.9 Damon: "Yep. We're awesome." He says smirking at her Elena: "Except for one thing. I don't want you to do it." Stefan: "What are you talking about Elena, we don't have a choice." Elena: "What about Klaus?" Stefan: "We'll find him after we get the stone." Elena: "Is that before or after he kills everyone I care about, including the two of you?" Stefan: "Elena, if we can de-spell the moonstone, we can save your life." Elena: "I know. Everybody keeps saying that." She says before walking away Jaylan: "Yeah she's been in a mood since her talk with Katherine." She says soothing Brielle's hair down
