Living with The Gilbert's hasn't always been easy for Jaylan Davis. When the Salvatore brothers come into town bringing with them vampires, werewolves, witches, and doppelgängers things get even more crazy.
Adding on top of that, she's a mom!
Alaric(Klaus): "Who is this guy, Safari Sam? Okay, bad or badder?" he asks pulling shirts out of Alaric's closet Katherine: "The dark colors suit you better." Alaric: "Oh, thank you, honey. Okay, pop quiz. The dagger and white ash are in the Salvatore's possession correct?" Katherine: "The dagger was used to kill Elijah. You'll find him in the basement of the house." Alaric: "Okay, that dagger needs to stay exactly where it is. The last thing I need to do is resurrect Elijah. Oh, that guy is a buzz kill." Katherine: "And don't forget you're on the outs with your girlfriend Jenna." Alaric: "Right, Elena's aunt. For, uh, all the lies about Isobel. What else?" Katherine: "You gotta watch out for Jaylan. She'll be one of the first people so suspect something going on?" Alaric: "Ah yes Jaylan. The somewhat of a daughter to Alaric. Anything else?" Katherine: "That's it." she says as he comes closer and puts his hands to her face Alaric: "Oh, so jumpy." Katherine: "Please just kill me. I've told you everything that I know." Alaric: "You see, I believe that you believe that. But what would you not know? What could they be keeping from you? Hmm? Anything? Tell me." he says compelling her Katherine: "They were trying to see if Bonnie could find a way to kill an Original without a dagger." Alaric: "Bonnie the best friend? You said she didn't have her powers anymore." Katherine: "She doesn't or didn't. I don't know. You kidnapped me remember. I'm kind of out of the loop." Alaric: "Well, we'll have to get to the bottom of that." Katherine: "Please just kill me, Klaus, and be done with it." Alaric: "And show you kindness? I've searched for you for over 500 years. Your death is going to last at least half that long. Now, I want you to take this knife and stab yourself" he says handing her a knife and watching as she stabs it in her leg "Now, take it out. Now, while I'm gone, I want you to do that over and over and over again. And if you get bored, switch legs." Katherine: "Where are you going?" Alaric: "I'm gonna go lay eyes on my precious doppelganger. Oh, don't look so glum, Katerina. The fun is just beginning. Again." he says walking out hearing her groan in pain

Man: "Please sign here and here." he says to Elena as her and Bonnie are in the house signing papers Elena: "Okay." Bonnie: "So this place is all yours? They just gave it to you?" Elena: "For now. As sole owner, I'm the only one who can invite a certain type of person in here if you know what I mean." Bonnie: "Your own personal safe house." Elena: "That's the idea." Bonnie: "Wouldn't wanna clean it." she says looking around before towards the open front door Damon: "You really think Bonnie can take on Klaus?" he asks while leaning against the wall playing hot hands with Brielle Stefan: "She said she'd channel enough witch's power to kill him. Elijah thought that would work and he was an Original, so." Damon: "We just need to find him. Ah cheater." he says making her laugh as they switch hands Stefan: "Yeah." Damon: "Could she do one of those witch tracking spells?" Jaylan: "Nope. Not without something that belongs to Klaus. Believe me, I already asked." she says sitting on the ledge Damon: "Do you think he killed her?" Stefan: "Katherine? Probably." Damon: "It's not like she didn't have it coming." he says looking off a little Stefan: "Yeah." Brielle: "I beat you again." she says smiling up at him as he playfully groans Damon: "You're just too good." Elena: "Thank you, Mr. Henry" she says as the man leaves and the four walk over to the entrance only for three of them to get stopped "I'm sorry. I completely forgot. Stefan. Would you like to come inside my house?" Stefan: "I would love to. Thank you." Elena: "Jaylan, won't you please come in." Jaylan: "Oh why thank you Ms. Gilbert." she says playfully curtsying making the two of them laugh and look over at the one vampire still stuck Damon: "What are we, 12?" Jaylan: "One of us is." she says making him laugh at her sarcastically Elena: "If I let you in, do you promise to obey the owner of this house?" Damon: "No." Elena: "Seriously, Damon. My way. You promised. I call the shots. No lies, no secret agendas. Remember?" Damon: "Yes, Elena. Sure." Elena: "Then please, come in." Damon: "Shut up." he mutters to Jaylan who is leaning against the wall smirking at him Jaylan: "Thanks." she says when Bonnie comes over handing them their stuff Stefan: "Wait, where are you going?" Elena: "To school." Stefan: "Huh?" Damon: "No, no. We didn't create a safe house for you to leave it." Stefan: "Yeah, guys, Klaus is out there. We know that." Elena: "Right. But where? No one knows. Look, I really appreciate what you guys are doing. I'll be able to sleep at night knowing that I'll be safe here but I'm not gonna be a prisoner." she says looking over at Damon Damon: "Your way, Elena." Bonnie: "Don't worry, I'm ready. If he shows his face, I can take him. I know how." Elena: "The way I see it, next to Bonnie is the safest place that I can be. Come on." Jaylan: "Let's go little missy." she says holding her hand out to Brielle who runs over and takes it Stefan: "Wait, I'm coming."
