I know. I just thought. Well, I just hoped that John would be the exception. I hoped that eventhough the world would change, he wouldn't. Instead, he would just be there smiling back at me and I hoped that it would be like no-one else mattered in the world except us - SH

He still loves you. I see it everytime he smiles at you - MH

I know, that's why it hurts more. I just don't know what to do anymore - SH

You're solving crimes with him almost everyday, moving on from him would be challenging to say the least but maybe you don't have to move on from him, not completely - MH

What do you mean? Of course, I have to move on from him, he's with Mary now - SH

Moving forward isn't the same as moving on. What I mean is don't focus on "moving on" as constantly reminding yourself of where you should be in life only makes you feel bad about where you are right now, no matter how much progress you've made - MH

I just don't know where to go from here - SH

Where you are right now is exactly where you need to be and the only direction to go from here is forward - MH

I mean, if you truly are destined to be together then now is not the time to worry about it - MH

So, I just need to focus on being there for John as his best friend? - SH

Yes but, more importantly, you need focus on allowing time for yourself - MH
