𝟎𝟎𝟐. 𝒉𝒆'𝒍𝒍 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖

Holy shit it's Paige - I mean Olivia. God I watched Bizaardvark way too much for a 17 year old. But just as I was about to give my nervous introduction, someone else bounced into the trailer.

The familiar older man with spiked brown hair and rounded glasses beamed at me, "Chloe! Welcome to set, just thought I'd help you quickly get settled," Tim's eyes then darted to the brunette in the chair, "Oh Olivia - you're here, great! Could you actually take over?"

She let out a tight laugh, "Uh, sure of course! But I'm not gonna lie I have no idea what's going on" she replied as she looked over to me and I smiled sheepishly. Tim then realised that we probably hadn't uttered a word to each other yet, and she had no idea what I was doing in their trailer.

"Oh goodness right, Liv - this is the winner of that Disney+ contest" he revealed, and her face then proceeded to light up with realisation.

"Woah that's awesome, and it's Chloe right?" she asked and her bright smile switched over to me. Okay and now would be the good time to actually say something. But instead all I did was nod; I was really nailing these silent nods. 

"Well great, you guys can now get ready and walk to set for the assembly scene, I actually gotta run but I'll see you girls in there" Tim said cheerily before waving goodbye and jogging away. I just stood there in the aftermath, again overwhelmed with how everyone talked with so much energy, and how I seem brain-dead in comparison.

"Don't worry, everyone has been talking as if they are on 7 cups of coffee, just for the hype of the first school scene," I looked over and saw Olivia smiling with reassurance. She could tell the anxiety was at a top-notch level for me. All I was telling myself was that if I didn't blab on about Jake Paul, I was going to scrape by just fine. 

"Yeah the enthusiasm seems insane, meanwhile this is the first sentence I've said on this set today" I replied whilst pointing to the ground, and she laughed as she looked in the mirror.

"Nah you're all good, but hey it's so cool that you won that contest! Sit, we both have got to get ready anyway" she offered and I grinned as I got comfy in the next chair, "by the way this is Stella our makeup artist and Maddie, one of the costume designers" she gestured to each of the women and we greeted each other. Stella worked from one to the other as we sat watching ourselves in the mirror.

"Yeah that contest was insane I still can't believe they took me - actually I can because I'm just the biggest HSM fan there is," I replied and she laughed heartily as she also considered herself a die-hard fan.

"But like I'm just a fan of all Disney, I mean...I'm like kind of a big fan of you even though I'm 17, the twins I used to babysit were obsessed with you and Maddie in Bizaardvark and like...I legit ended up finding your Instagram and following you. Your songs are incredible." I said with a shy smile. Wow I was really doing a confessions of fangirl moment. Did it sound a bit creepy? I couldn't even tell anymore.

"Oh my gosh really? That's so nice of you thank you! Are you here for the whole season?" she questioned as she looked over to me again and I felt a blush come just from how warm, how welcomed she made me feel.

"Yep! As like one of the theatre nerds with you, and as a featured dancer" I said with a small laugh.

"Listen I love that 'cause you're going to have to help me with some of the moves," she joked with a tone of desperation and I happily agreed. "and where are you from?" she continued.

"Oh, Oceanside California"

"Heyyy, that's where Joshy is from!" she replied with glee, a glint in her eye as she referenced the curly-haired boy.

"I'm sorry, Joshy?"

My eyes blasted wide for a second and I looked away and sniffed. I was not meant to say that out loud. Olivia was caught off guard and she giggled to herself shyly.

"Oh right - yeah it's a weird inside joke I started but now it's catching on, but his full name is Joshua Bassett" she added and laughed again; I can just pretend this is new information.

 "He hates when I call him that, but I guess that was the point and now I can't stop" she replied and she looked back to her reflection with a coy smile.

I smirked as I reminisced, "Yeah making fun Josh is the best...I- I imagine." I quickly added. Again, instinct. I couldn't tell if I wanted her to know just how much I agreed with her.

"Oh you have no idea, but you're gonna meet him in like five minutes. Trust me he'll love you!" she replied with a grin. I gave a tight smile to maintain the positive atmosphere, but my heart shuddered as she spoke those last words.

𝑭𝑳𝑨𝑺𝑯𝑩𝑨𝑪𝑲: 𝑱𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑶𝑹 𝒀𝑬𝑨𝑹

"𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐈 𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐋 𝐘𝐎𝐔 I love you yet?" Josh whispered as we danced together. His words must've come as a shock even to him, since he didn't even look down to me. His voice shivered at the end - terrified that I would let him down.

I let out a small breath of laughter before delicately turning his face towards me with the tip of my finger. His eyes moved constantly between mine, trying to find answers in them. It was almost funny to realise he wasn't aware of much he meant to me.

I smiled with a hint of sarcasm, "I mean I guess there's no pressure - whenever you're ready. But uh, in the meantime...I think I'll just let you that I love you - so much Joey " I responded,  with his nickname that only I could use, whilst my fingers moved from his chin to lightly press on his lips.

He let out a breath of relief and I felt his whole body immediately ease as it was pressed against mine. We didn't kiss or anything, I just let myself lay against his chest and heard his heartbeat fasten. We continued swaying in sync, it just felt like we were always on the same page and I found serenity in his arms.
