I Don't Deserve It

"She took took our rope. Norman is getting shipped out. She broke Emma's leg." Don went on about how everything is falling apart "We were supposed to check out the vicinity and then escape. What are we supposed to do now?"

"Emma will heal. We can make another rope. We can do something about the escape. We will make it happen! For now we have to worry about Norman!" Ray growled

"But why? Out of all of us why only him?" Gilda asked "It's not because she found out about us trying to escape, right?"

"Yeah it's weird! If we taste better the higher we score... Norman is the smartest kid here so wouldn't she want him to mature completely?" Don argued

"Yes, that should've been the case under normal circumstances but this is a special case right here. She got rid of Krone and cut Ray off." [Y/N] mumbled 

"It was all for this. Norman's shipment." Ray completed her sentence

"But I can't believe it. Even Sister Krone..." Gilda gasped

"She was doing fine this morning..." Don trailed off as he recalled the memories of the woman smiling brightly while doing chores along with the kids

"So..." Don started as they were about to enter their humble house "What are we going to do? At this rate Norman will get-"

"He'll escape! Obviously!" Ray told

"We still have a day. He just has to escape before tomorrow night." [Y/N] added

'The only problem is that he doesn't want to escape!' the two thought as they climbed up the stairs

"Emma." Norman said with his usual smile on his face as he entered the infirmary only to get shocked to see two other figure in addition to the girl.

"We need to talk." Ray said

"We are not going to let you die." [Y/N] stated firmly

"Norman, escape by yourself tomorrow afternoon." Emma explained

the shock on his face was replaced by soften eyes and a sad smile "Sorry, I can't do tha-"

"Denied." the three claimed as the boy sweat dropped as their blunt attitude  

"Hear me out. I want you to pretend that you've escaped." Ray explained furthermore 

"Huh?" Norman hummed in confusion

"You'll nullify the tracking device and pretend to have escaped. But you'll hide in the area until Emma's healed." [Y/N] said in order to clear up his confusion

"And the day we escape, you'll escape with us!" Emma added

"Until then you'll be someone who's gone, so you can inspect the vicinity all you want. And we won't have the problem of how we meet up after we get out." Ray said

"But... even if it's true, once I run away the security will get tighter." Norman tried to reason

"That won't be a problem. Judging by the house's policies, security won't increase much." Ray answered 

"Policies?" Norman asked

"One, to let us grow freely and healthily. And two, confidentiality." [Y/N] stated and then explained the two policies elaborately to make point in front of Norman

"So here's the thing. They can't confine us with stricter rules... or take measures to prevent escape that will make the house look threatening. And they can't make the wall higher because the children will be able to see it from afar." Ray reasoned "If they were to tighten security, all they could do... would be to increase patrolling or caretakers. We can deal with it if it is just that." he emphasized
